Now the season seems to be hanging by a thread I thought I would produce a list of the top ten people whose fault it is. 1) Stuart Webber - although technically he resigned almost a year ago ultimately it’s all his fault right? 2) Ben Gibson - Just edging into second place following Plymouth can he keep up the momentum and push past Webber. .3) Adam Idah - 4 goals in 8 games doesn’t seem to be changing many minds. 4)Hwang - New entry 100 minutes is all it has taken to enter the top 5. 5)Delia - After all she owns the club 6)Wagner - He is the manager 7) Kenny McLean - Dropping down the list these days but one point away from climbing back into the top 5. 8. Michael somehow he never gets as much stick as Delia despite owning the club as well. 9) The Attanasio’s I mean where is the money dudes. 10) The officials where is VAR. when you need it. Have I missed anyone?

For the last 10-12 years, the present wasn't relevant because they had 'history'. Now they're above us for the first time in six years, history isn't relevant because they're above us at present. It's like waving banknotes at us because Marcus Evans was going to bankroll their charge to the Premier League, or the cries of 'mind the gap' only to see us finish above them and beat them in the playoffs. They never learn, do they?

I have a lot of faith in our court system and am confident the jury will return the right result based on the evidence provided.

I was in the binner office this morning, funny how they're all suddenly interested in talking football again, like I said to them you weren't interested for the past 10 years, so shut the **** up now

This is a great thread in fairness. My attempt at Hoggy and NN's list of unappreciated Norwich legends:- 1. Adrian Coote - came into the side during a tough spell and what did people expect for a young player? We didn't have the money to buy experience. 2. James Husband - a solid left back who if the fans got behind him could have flourished under Farke. People shouldn't expect footballers to be able to kick the ball straight when we don't have the funds of other teams. 3. Glenn Roeder - got a great result in the derby against the odds and didn't have the funds to match others in the division. What did we expect? 4. Bryan Gunn as manager - caught cold by Colchester and harshly hounded out by fans with unrealistic expectations. People were quick to forget the incredible win vs Barnsley when we smashed them 4-0. We can't expect to roll over teams like Colchester. 5. Splat the Cat - unfairly vilified for not being Captain Canary and people had it in for him coz he was partly blue. You can't expect club mascots to be the correct colours. I love you really lads... 😉

If you're looking for who to blame, you'll find all this covered in the good book. By which, I of course mean, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: "Many were increasingly of the opinion that they’d all made a big mistake in coming down from the trees in the first place. "And some said that even the trees had been a bad move, and that no one should ever have left the oceans."

Where I do agree with LYB is that if this goes to trial and is basically thrown out for a complete lack of evidence, then there is clearly a problem with the system. However, that problem would be with the investigations that have taken place already and/or the decision to prosecute, not with the idea that policemen should face a trial in the same way as anyone else. If he is found guilty, or even if he is found not guilty but it is clear why it needed to go in front of a jury to determine, then the system is doing what it should.

It's a disgraceful act, but when these sorts of things happen I'm always disappointed at the visceral reaction it creates compared to incidents that lead to the loss of human life. It was like ISIS destroying Palmyra, most people were more shocked and angered by that than the daily slaughter of humans, including children. I'm far more concerned about the bus crash on Merseyside earlier this morning or about the family of that 15-year-old girl stabbed in Croydon and the need for her killer to be bought to justice. An ancient tree being cut down is a terrible thing for someone to do, but I won't lose any sleep over it nor make ridiculous suggestions that the person who did it should be shot. In the league table of evil acts committed in the UK in the last 48 hours, it wouldn't make the top 100.

The UK is a racist hellhole don’t you know? Despite numerous studies saying that we’re possibly the least racist country in Europe, tens of thousands of black people risking their lives in dinghies to get here, the PM, Home Secretary, Scottish FM all being different ethnicities and black African pupils outperforming their white counterparts (with Indian and Chinese children doing likewise) at school, we’re actually worse than Apartheid South Africa and the police regularly bump off innocent black men for no reason

Then your analogy is even worse! Again a few folks, like yourself, use "well run club" when referring to the footballing side but as a phrase, represents the club as a whole. The club IS well run. We have had some of the poorest owners in the top two tiers for many years now. Whilst we watch other clubs of varying comparative sides do worse with more backing, or better, we have considerably out-performed our transfer outlays especially if you look at net spend. If you listen only to people who say that expenditure is a guarantee for success and then use that as the basis to determine what a well run club is, you'll likely be coming up with all of the wrong answers. As a club, we actually demonstrate more success with lower cost gambles. If you look back at the players - post millennium - that have broken our transfer record, they have been very hit and miss. Not as individuals but as a group - so whilst Ashton was a hit, we had several like Naismith, Rashica, Van Wolfswinkel etc who never quite made the grade with us so you have the evidence you need to know that measure is heavily flawed. It certainly wasn't the majority view. On top of that, you can never say that cheap players are going to be flops either, or old players. Our recent success has been built upon players exactly like that. When we went up under Farke the first time, we had a squad of maybe players or players already considered on the rubbish heap. Kruls' career was seen to be on the wane, injury amongst other factors saw him seen as a back up keeper and not a first choice. Pukki's career had long since taken him out of any respectably ranked European top flight, he'd flopped pretty much everywhere he had been. Tribal was so good he was released. Stiepermann wasn't playing top flight football in Germany. Zimmermann was on the brink of quitting football altogether such was the lack of interest in him as a player - in his early 20s! Rhodes' reputation, even then, was on the decline. McLean was cheap. Klose was our most expensive player and had spent most of his time crocked, Hanley was the 2nd most expensive I think. That's before you revisit the best Norwich City freebie 11. Dublin, Nedergaard, Edworthy etc etc etc. Anyone who has been supporting this club for more than 20yrs should well and truly know this by now. Even Martin Peters came to us with the general view being that his career was on a downward trajectory. Some would argue the same about Huckerby. There are so many more factors in whether or not a player is a success. I think someone said during the summer that Webber said something about "moneyball" which is that the stats are all great up until a point, even interviews and getting to know players through introductions won't tell you the other key aspects. One is footballing intelligence, as in, can they take on / absorb new information so they can be developed, and how quickly can they do that? Especially if routinely drilled to play a certain, rigid, way for several years. And that's before you consider language barriers, culture shock, home sickness, just not warming to an area or your new surroundings... hell, personal things like splitting up with a partner and no longer wanting to be in the same postcode, feeling alone without your support network. Getting on with team mates - many of us will have experienced jobs or roles where we just don't feel like we fit in. And as some people who come to Wolfwinkels defense say, brought in to do a job and then used completely differently to the way that they have carved a career out. On paper, largely, ALL signings look good for various reasons, but they can't all be successes. And as we have found recently, many can be brilliant successes at this level but fail to translate that into the next level. Some might even say that extends to the head coach too.

It is a funny thing. Most Budgies seem to be somewhere in Egypt. That is de'Nile. Dont just look at the scores earlier this year, (21 wins from 23) look at them this season (9 from 10). Town are for the moment going places and the best you can do is watch in wonder. It will all end in tears as all football does. But not at the moment. Be afraid. Be very afraid. Budgie dominance has ended. For a while that is unless Keiron can become like Sir Alf or Sir Bobby and to be fair he has started well. In which case you might as well all go home because tomorrow is BLUE

I dunno if I'm just getting old but I think the whole 'rivalry' we have here is just cringe at this point. It is cringe to watch Ipswich fans pretend like the last 15 or so years haven't happened based on one good season. It is cringe to watch our fans try to kid themselves that Ipswich aren't actually quite good at the moment.

Guns do kill people, especially when wielded by impressionable kids who listen to people glamourising criminality and weapons, like that waste of oxygen Kaba was involved in when he wasn't getting involved in conspiracy to murder himself. And even more so when you can't get any police officers to pick up a gun because they're all sh1t scared of being prosecuted.

Marvelous first post Nessie x Thing is old bootie, your amigo King Keano scarpered from this place in 2018. He owes our charity £57. Came back this week thanks to your amigo Chris Makin but scarpered again right sharpish after the little matter of £57 resurfaced. So you will understand that we see all of you as debt avoiding vermin. Which perhaps isn't fair because you could just be footy fans giving it the big un after so many years in our shadow. There's so many of you now it would probably only cost you a tenner each to settle this debt. If you could get the closet binners on side maybe just a fiver. What do you say?

From the start I agree that an independent and fair review of the incident had to be done the same as any firearms discharge or fatality. The trial is bought by the CPS and in a number of cases where the police have been taken to trial the result has been in favour of the police they still get criticised for biased judgment by the press and family / friends of the victim. I haven’t looked at all the numbers of the trial statistics of police officers bought to charge after the shooting and found guilty! I’d love to know what the rate of guilty is? It’s now up to the court to decide vie a jury and trial and all the evidence will be presented and we will see how this goes. As for gun culture in this country, gangs & criminals don’t buy firearms legally and the more we protect them with being soft the more innocent normal people get caught up in violent crimes. I have zero sympathy for Kaba or his family, they knew who he was and now choose to paint him in public as an innocent citizen when the reality is very different. The less people like him on the streets the safer we should feel!

Absolutely. Fox's argument fell to pieces. He opined "We need powerful, strong, amazing women who make great points for themselves" and then couldn't cope with her. Then he griped about "incels", at which point you know he's lost his head as there's absolutely no such thing - they're not involuntary at all. They might be celibate, but you can bet your bottom dollar they're just whinging because no-one worth their salt would go near them.

GMF sorry I have question for you regarding the waiver being to protect the minority share holders, so what is the value of these shares being purchased by MA to get to 40% is it £25 per share? More or Less? I’m not invested as I said and I don’t know, but if the share value of this purchase is less than £25 and Delia & MWJ are happy to sell their allocation if needed for less than £25 then if the club is valued at far less than some fan-shareholders think then the waiver will protect from a really small offer being made for the time being? Or am I totally missing the value and my understanding?

Seemingly (a quick google - probably should have done that first) there have been a number of cases where police have been tried for gross negligence manslaughter for use of excessive force - and one found guilty. So if this clearly was an option open to the CPS, but they decided to go for a murder charge, it would certainly suggest the CPS thinks (after lengthy investigations) there is a bit more to this. And all the more reason you would think that it should indeed go to trial and not be hushed up because the policeman might be stressed by the trial.

I may be miles out, my my understanding is the following: 1. Attanasio currently has 20% of the shares. 2. The club will create a number of new shares, which Attanasio will buy, with the money going to the club, to make him exactly equal ownership with D&M at 40% each, with 20% in the hands of smaller shareholders. 3. One someone reaches 30%, takeover laws means he must make an offer to all remaining shareholders at the highest price they have already paid. Its up to those people if they accept. 4. The vote is on whether this obligation to make this offer can be waived, leaving Attanasio and D&M with parity at 40% each, thus not putting him in complete control for the time being. 5. Part of the deal will see Attanasio's boardroom votes being automatically tied to D&Ms decions for 3 years from January 2023 when he initially joined the board, thus giving control of the club to D&M despite shareholding parity. 6. This means that Delia is in effect reducing the value of their shares, whilst taking no money at this stage and allowing Attanasio to make investment and still getting some value from his investment. Just because their votes are linked, doesnt mean he wont have any sway, there is nothing to stop them all making decisions that Attanasio wants to make, but he would have to convince D&M and for them to vote as he wants for anythign to happen. I guess, during those 3 years, should D&M feel like they were ready to hand over control, they could still pass control to Attanasio with a boardroom vote/selling more of their shares. Im sure someone will step in and tell me i am wrong, but that seems to be correct from what i have read?

Jesus,Van Wolfswinkel has scored goals at every club he has played for except us ( and Real Betis on loan). He was never going to flourish here under Hughton. Felt sorry for him here. And before somebody mentions the blind pass he made,we've seen the Buendia's and Maddison's of this world do the same.He was a decent player. We've had countless worse than him.
