  1. No, it was me signing off. I really must say how much I have enjoyed reading about all these unhappy, disbelieving Budgies who are constantly persuaded that Town can't keep up, City will catch them, Leeds/Southampton will do the job on them. Well they might. But people talk about us and they don.t you. But that is normal for me. I was brought up with Bobby R and a struggling City is where it's at. But as I said. Thanks for the ride. It has been ...... heart warming
  2. What about Grant Holt going down like he was poleaxed when the defender had not touched him at all ? Ref penalised the defender with a red card and gave Holt a free kick. There have always been mistakes made on a football pitch.
  3. Catch up the Bluebirds. Pity the Millers. Go the Baggies. Go the Tigers. Poor Budgies ...... Fabulous wage bill, Booing crowd, Delia's there for 10 more years. So many points adrift. With nowhere to go. What happens when the parachute payments stop ? Kieran McKenna .... The future is BLUE ..... Have a nice day ...... Never been better to be a Blue.... So many unhappy Budgies. How wonderful. It's a pleasure to see. COYB The Runner
  4. In fact I can think of one or two Linos that need to be told who they are.
  5. If I cant Boo. Am I allowed to question the Ref's parentage on occasion ?
  6. But then if we dont go for it. If we dont believe we can do it, why do we turn up every other week.
  7. With Leicester seemingly heading for the top place then it's perm 1 from the 3 between the Binners, Leeds and Southampton.West Brom are consolidating 5th.Leaving 6th place between any one of 5-6 also-rans fighting for the doubtful privilege to be beaten in the playoff semis by whoever misses out on the top 2 place.Seems to make the season pointless

  9. The East Anglian Derby is so intense because it has been going on for so long. It is ingrained into the population that we dislike the other county. Nothing to do with Norwich or Ipswich of course. All about the county. I used to work on the border amongst the farmers and it was not unusual for them not to employ somebody because they lived on the "Wrong side of the Water". (For the thick that means the Waveney/Ouse rivers). Those that live and work with only yellow and green or blue and white colleagues will not know or feel the intense rivalry between the two. Those of us that live in the twilight of that disputed region, "half and half", feel it immensely.
  10. This rivalry has nothing to do with Norwich v Ipswich. It is all to do with Norfolk v Suffolk. History see. The North Folk and the South Folk were knocking ten bells out of each other when Julius Caesar came to separate them. Like most of the great rivalries it is history. Many of course are religious. Utd v City, Liverpool v Everton and of course Celtic v Rangers even Spurs v Arsenal
  11. Really. I confess to being a bit of a dinosaur as to how it works. Would you do one for us ? Thanks Runner
  12. I am a Season Ticket holder of a certain age who lives 2 hours away from the ground. I find that I can only make matches that are during the day because of having to rely on public transport. This means that I have to miss all evening games. Of course I used to go to every game. But that no longer applies. I am sure other supporters also miss some games due holidays, family events, illness etc. In recent weeks there are gaps in the stands around for all to see. I just wonder how many matches the average Season Ticket holder does actually get to. This is mainly prompted by a bloke I met in the pub over Christmas who claimed that he had two season tickets (for himself and his boy) but he had not used them for two or three years. Just kept up the standing order really to show support for the Club. So, how many games do season ticket holders actually get to ? All the games All bar a few Most Some None
