I can't find it, but he has just posted his goodbyes on Instagram. Can't be far off now.

If the club truly want a place in the top flight Farke should be nowhere in sight, facts don’t lie. Two abysmal seasons at the top with City and now MG’s worst season in 12 years, that tells me he isn’t a good enough coach at the top level. I’m sure that’s gonna upset many on here but facts don’t lie, whatever the circumstances may have been.

Saw this on twitter being asked by the Pink Un and thought I'd give this a go. Except, I've decided I'm going to try and finish the rebuild that's been started on a budget of £5m. This is entirely hypothetical and a bit of fun - none of these players are actually linked as far as I am aware. I'll explain the rules I've decided on. First, I'm going to assume that Duffy will join Barnes and Stacey through the door as new signings. I'm also going to assume that on top of those who have been confirmed to be leaving due to their contracts expiring, we'll also see the sales of Rashica, Aarons and Omobamodiele given they seem to be the three commonly touted by the club and in the media. Second, in determining fees, I'm going to be using transfermarkt or any media related values. So if a player has been linked with a £2m move in the media, I'm going to assume that's how much he costs to buy. If no such article exists, I'll use the transfermarkt value. With those rules in mind, I'm thinking a further six signings will be needed to complete the rebuild. A DL, DC, DM, MC, MR, ML. The first signing I'll make is the most obvious one, Ryan Manning, on a free from Swansea. Given the contribution he's made to Swansea's season with 10 assists and 5 goals, I imagine every Championship - and maybe some Prem - clubs will be chasing him. But we are as attractive a proposition as any and given a chance, I could see him at Carrow Road. If Ryan Manning is tempted elsewhere, I think trying to lure Harry Toffolo back on loan from Forest would be good. The second I would make is Auston Trusty from Arsenal. A 24 year old centre back who spent last year on loan at Birmingham, Trusty is rumoured to be available for £2m. He spent last season on loan at Birmingham, where he won their player of the year award having played 44 games, averaging 2.3 tackles a game and 1.5 interceptions. For comparison, Grant Hanley averaged 1.2 tackles per game and 1.7 interceptions. He has a single cap for the US too, showing he's on the radar of a quickly improving international set up. If we're looking for a replacement for Big Andy who still has time on his side, room to be developed, the potential to be worth significantly more than what we buy him for - this guy could be an astute signing. The third signing I'd make is the loan signing of Connor Coventry from West Ham. In January, Coventry joined Rotherham on loan from West Ham in January and became an important part of the team. An impressive 1.9 tackles, 1.1 interceptions and 1.4 clearances per games, (Skipp, in that indomitable season he played for us had 2.2 tackles, 1.1 interceptions and 1 clearance per game by comparison), his statistics are also very favourable for passing, getting 2 assists through his time (not bad as a DM) and 1 key pass per game, with 1.4 long balls per game (with Skipp getting 1 assist, 0.6 key passes and 2.4 long balls). A loan signing to a team with perhaps loftier ambitions than Rotherham might be good for his development which may be Norwich’s in with West Ham. Given it's a loan, I'm going to suggest a flat cost to us of £500k for the purpose of the budget. The fourth signing is another Rotherham player, and one of the players that most impressed me at Carrow Road this season, that being Chiedozie Ogbene. Also out of contract this season, he's scored an impressive 8 goals and 4 assists for Rotherham, aged 26 and has recently burst on to the scene with Ireland, could be an astute signing to come in and see if he can kick on. I thought when he came to Carrow Road recently, he looked quick, confident and gave Aarons a few problems - something we could really do with more at Carrow Road. To be completed.

Funny that’s probably what QPR fans would say about our team! 😂

Misleading bollox? QPRs ST prices start from £242... So an adult is paying somewhere between £433 and £659 compared to our £534

A lot of the information is leaked by agents. They leak this info because it helps them when negotiating new salaries for their clients. More ****e from agents, bloody parasites draining money out of the game!

The Met Office lost the contract with the BBC to MeteoGroup in 2018, about the same time Meteogroup was bought out by a Swiss venture capital firm and went on to be integrated into DTN, a US-based weather forecasting company, so there's definitely been plenty of change behind the scenes to explain a change in quality.

This is where religion or atheism is personal to each of us…we look up in the night sky in awe, we see it’s beauty and contemplate our standing in this tiny part of an insignificant world, which is just a particle in the massive expanse of the universe knowing life was formed on this earth millions of years ago and in 3 billion years will be no more consumed by the sun! Belief is personal and that’s how it should be, no one has the right to preach upon you that you’re right or wrong, because in reality it’s your own view that counts. If it makes you a happy and charitable human with high moral values then whatever works is the true meaning.

Not good but ultimately it's basic economics of supply and demand. Our fans turn up regardless so the club can afford to keep the prices high. It also helps that our stadium is short of about 10,000 seats.

Yes. I suspect this is a case of 'I know a friend who.......' I would add that some might think it is depriving the club of money, it is not. The attendances at home and away are not seriously affected. This helps those who for many reasons are unable to attend CR. And many will know it is not always easy to get an away ticket A heartwarming (hearth warming)story, and it is true, is my uncle who. as with so many. is a life long City supporter. Only his (state) pension does not stretch as far as his he would like, no car either so Radio Norfolk. Sorted this out and since Xmas he and two others gather round his at 1.30pm with a few cans. £4.50 a piece for pre match drinks and the game. He still has a fire, and the other two were also taking wood to burn for the afternoon. However, if this is still going next season and it works there is nothing to stop any of you from 'chipping in'. By that I mean a donation to the Downs boys and girls, or a few items of winter warmth and/or Xmas presentments from the club shop.... or simply take a friend or two to a home cup game. The club gets the revenue direct, they get to see a game, and you get to ease your conscience.

I find it odd that Norwich, of all fans, find it right to post over social media how ridiculous and wrong it is that Farke got sacked from his latest position. Unless you've watched every game and been involved with the fans throughout the season its totally unfair. Remember how we didn't like Villa fans criticising us sacking Smith? Or the entire footballing world hating us for sacking Hughton?

Wasn’t there mention of him the other day? Think he played in the euro u17 tournament recently, a tricky winger.

I’m all for people beating the system tbh. It makes an unaffordable product much more accessible for what is and should be the people’s game. I have zero sympathy for the broadcasters losing any money. If they were really losing out they’d not be able to bid the insane amounts of money that has created a divide in the game in this country that is unbridgeable. One way or another, there’ll be football on tv no matter how many streamers get the product by hooky means. I’m incredibly fortunate to have a ST but others less so, all power to the tech brains that can beat the system

Exactly. Cheap gutter journalism for headlines encouraging a witch hunt. Unacceptable. I think the comparison to Carol Flack is on point. This sort of behaviour can easily drive people to suicide. In cases like this where the media go after people like this, if they do finish up committing suicide, newspaper editors should be up for manslaughter.

Dear God. We have VAR and the refereeing is still at such a god awful level with or without it. Painfully bad: 1) Utd penalty never a pen 2) Casemiro very high and rash, could easily be a red. United free kick instead. 3) Man City pen shout - not a pen for me but if 1 is given.. 4) Yellow card for Wan Bissaka for maybe possibly touching Grealish' trailing foot.

He was until that fateful day when Merv threw his first two darts and got 20, treble twenty. His third dart hit the wire, flew into the audience and got Sisdter Mary Joseph in the eye and killed her. The scorer shouted "One Nun dead and Eighty".

****** European Court stopping us from properly suing people who watch "illegal" streams! I thought that when we voted for Brexit it was supposed to stop this sort of thing! Poor Rupert Murdoch will be down to his last few billion if this outrage is allowed to continue. If I were him I'd be tempted to campaign against the European Court and Courts etc that stop a man from earning an honest billion.

That's the general rule of thumb; Provide a service that let's people watch football matches is illegal, but watching them that way is not.

I replied to your comment about the press attention being worse because it was boy and saying it would be the same regardless because he knew the person when he was younger. I'm not getting into the rights/wrongs or proof of the matter with you for this reply, but the press reaction and social media reaction is very much because they can paint him as a child groomer. It is 100% relevant because otherwise all they've got is Schofield had an affair with a younger person and lied about it.

But are we supposed to expect perfection? And considering that so many decisions in football are subjective and the experts struggle to agree on a lot of them, how can the referee satisfy everyone by getting every free kick, penalty, red card etc. correct? The referees at this level make mistakes. So do the players, coaches, sporting directors and everyone else. But all of these people are doing the best they can under circumstances and cannot be expected to get absolutely everything spot on. I don't think it's funding, because the majority of refs at Championship level are full time, I believe. Throwing more money at them is unlikely to make them improve, and with the amount of money in the game nowadays, I'm sure plenty is invested in officiating. It can't be desire either, because these are people who worked their way up from earning £20 on a Sunday morning for a few years before even turning semi-pro. They wouldn't have reached the level they have if they lacked hunger and desire. I'm not sure if it's just unrealistic expectation from fans or that the mentality of criticising referees is so ingrained nowadays it's difficult to move away from it.

What I don’t understand about the US election conspiracy b0llocks is that Trump was president when it happened. The most powerful man at the head of the most powerful nation and yet under his watch in charge of the government, he couldn’t prevent “someone” rigging the election result against him? Doesn’t say much for his effectiveness as leader.

Well I wish them luck. The more smaller clubs that get in the PL and do well, the better it is for the future of the game as a sport. Nothing better than seeing the big guns being taken down a peg or two. However, I am expecting they will get Man City away as their first match, followed closely by Arsenal and Man Utd in their first six games. The PL does not like small clubs and will do it's best to make life hard for them.

I'm of the opinion that refs should be mic'd up like they are in Rugby so that fans can hear why they make certain decisions and how the go about controlling a game. On the few youtube videos of examples where ref's have been mic'd up (I think off the top of my head the Australian ref who's in the Pl was one of them) they come across really well and it would do a lot for changing attitudes towards how refs are perceived and treated. People are generally of the opinion that they're all useless, blind, control freaks (a few of them are to be fair) who want to go out of their way to ruin football for their own amusement because that's how it comes across to fans who feel hard done by and as such we tend to side with our own clubs and tolerate referee abuse. I have no doubt that if public understanding and sympathy towards refs changed then people like Mouriniho would have to reign themselves in a bit because they would be seen as the bad guy if they abuse referees. Not to mention that what players and managers say to them would be recorded and broadcast so they would have to mind their language. I feel like this isn't implemented to protect the few useless, blind control freaks who probably are in their position because they know someone high up and got a job for the boys but it would show most other referees in a much better light and would change attitudes pretty quickly because the vast majority are good at what they do and do their best to stay out of influencing a game and talk to players with respect. You can't just start red carding everyone who talks to a ref disrespectfully because teams would end games with half a team most games but if they were mic'd up public opinion would change, players would know they were being recorded so wouldn't be so disrespectful and fans would have an understanding of why decisions were made so I believe there would be a hell of a lot more respect for the profession and therefore they would receive less abuse.

He got 10 goals and 9 assists in a relegated team as a midfielder who didnt even play every game.. I suspect it's a coping mechanism for some Leicester fans who know they're losing their best player.

He should never have been sacked from us. Simply should have been trusted to carry on with all the ups and downs that go with football. After all he was given a four year contract for that purpose after a record season.
