"Thank you's" all round for the concerned comments above. I'm hardly ever ill and when you get symptoms during such a pandemic it must be easy to add two and two. I'm now fairly sure I do not have the virus. All checks I've made (save for a test result) indicate not. There are the three key symptoms and I've not had any of those. The throat and stomach are much better after a 24 hour period too. Mrs S was never convinced either! I may as well take the mickey out of myself!

    No, Mumba's the new number 5! 😉

Step 1 - Get promoted to the EPL. Step 2 - Stay there. I’d be perfectly happy as a mid-lower table Premier League club. 2 or more seasons of that in a row would allow for proper investment in the team, the completion of our academy initiatives and a decent chunk of cash set aside for the expansion of the City stand, long overdue.

I know there may be some that would shout unchanged, but given we have had the same squad twice in a row Ithink some changes may be required.

Just donated a tenner. A soft spot for Lynn as it is my place of birth.

There were good Russ Abbot sketches?

Id like to think we will still be playing an entertaining brand of football with a strong representation of the academy in our starting eleven. I'd also like to think we're either fighting for promotion or trying to stay in the Premier League, but despite some posters thoughts on here we've actually been unbelievably lucky as fans to have pretty much had something to play for in most of the last 10 seasons. Not too many fans have had that privilege.

Easy for me, Danny "I think I`m so great" Mills. Knocks us at every opportunity even though we gave him his big break. See the Bianca Westwood post. A poor example of a lucky boy that squirmed his way through football by being a dirty useless player and now can`t bring himself to acknowledge the club in a respectful manner that set him on his way. Wants to be recognised as a Leeds legend, that in it`s self say`s so much. T**t.

If anyone has 30 mins to spare this is a brilliant documentary about Justin's life in Norfolk and Norwich City. http://www.eafa.org.uk/catalogue/5485

    But what an atmosphere 🤣

After arguably the best overall performances of the season (taking into the conditions on Wednesday) why would anyone want to change the team? Just my opinion but I don’t think you can change a team that’s performed so well over the last couple of matches.

Really good news, I feel we've missed Steipi as an option at times, especially when chasing a game he just has a knack for picking a pass and most importantly scoring a goal or two. Hopefully he has no ill effects and can edge closer to a return

If we were to sign him I would hope we would then sign a left back called zippadee doo dah. What a pair that would be.

Survival in the lower parts of the premiership - season after season of getting tonked, interspersed with the odd memorable win. I think I prefer yo-yoing - at least there is always an edge to a game.

If the next five are as enjoyable as the previous 54 I'll be more than happy💛⚽💚🙃

Going back to the Kings Lynn loan affiliation thing. I think it's clear that we are now only acquiring players of a certain standard maybe slightly above Kings Lynn, and that each loan out is carefully considered player by player based on what they need... ie... technical advancement they go to the Dutch leagues. If they need to toughen up then it's the lower English leagues. It's no good sending all our kids to Kings Lynn. It's way more advanced than that these days. Every player has a development profile which is very very unique.

Andy Townsend can be added to those two, he wiped his Norwich career from memory very quickly.

Bit of a surprise, welcome if proven "The Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine no longer needs to be kept at super-cold temperatures, new results suggest, a development which will make it considerably easier to distribute in the UK and internationally. According to the updated stability data, which has been submitted to regulators in the United States, the vaccine can be kept in a normal medical freezer at between -15C and -25C for as long as two weeks. Previously, the vaccine - which uses mRNA technology and was the first in the world to be approved, by UK regulators - had to be “deep frozen” at between -60C and -80C, temperatures colder than the Antarctic winter. The vaccine’s instability has been a major hurdle for distribution efforts. Doses are shipped in specially-designed containers that must be topped up with dry ice every five days and, once it arrives at a clinic, it can be kept in a fridge for only five days."

Can't see any changes to the team. What has Dowell done to deserve a start? Imo he has to show more when he comes on the pitch from the bench. Yes, a run of games from the start might help him, but he has to earn that and he hasn't done that yet imo. Cantwell is setting the example at the moment for work rate and desire and the very minimum we need from Dowell is to see that when he comes on the pitch. He looked quite lively when he came on against Coventry, but not much else. Sorensen is unlucky not to be picked outright, but he will get his chance again and hopefully take it. Bit disappointed not to see him on the pitch, but who do you drop? It's a tough one, but shows the strength in depth we have. He seems a cool customer though and is a big asset for us. I'd like to see him alongside Skipp, but then McLean doesn't deserve to be dropped.

Oh is that right ? Who setup Cantwell for his goal against Stoke ?

King's Lynn been a useful platform for Norwich youngsters recently though? Simon Power went there, and then on to a level higher after gaining experience. Archie Mair is there at the moment, it wouldn't surprise me if Daniel Barden is sent there next season for a full season of grown ups footy? Can't see the problem in us exploring ways we could help them out of a hole at the moment if it can bring something mutually beneficial. They've got a nice little pitch, perhaps they could host some U23 games so we can keep Carrow Road fresh? And not fond of Ian Culverhouse at all? A member of the famous team of 92-93, and architect of our double promotion seasons (definitely the master tactician behind that).

I think Sorensen is a smart player and would do whatever Farke tells him to do. He was good going forward as a LB so there's no reason he wouldn't be good going forward as a DM. I think it's tragic he's not getting game time as he was excellent (as a makeshift LB) when he has played and didn't deserve to be dropped. We need him to be in position getting game time and developing for next season.

    1. To mainain the club in a healthy position financially and structurally by continuing with the same policies that are in place now, whatever division we are in, whether it means PL or not. 2. If either/both Farke and Webber leave during those five years, that plans are in place to have a good idea who would come in to those jobs. 3. To put some money aside year on year for ground improvements as in a rebuilding or refurbishment and extension of the city stand with the aim that by year five, building can start. 4. To get promoted to the PL and be able to stay there - not by spending big on players, but by the sheer quality of football we play because of the systems in place with youth and continued clever/creative player recruitment. Once in the PL, to always play without fear and that the mentality is there to win it, should we find that success on the pitch leads us towards the top of the table.

Now I hate the bigging up by the football media of Brentford recently, just because I hate the way that the media creates darling teams for a short while, but not the club or its fans. Knew a few of their supporters, they were great. Also had a good time at Griffin Park, never felt a bad atmosphere as an away fan. A good club, playing great football, who have often been in the shadow of bigger neighbours and who probably deserve their time for being a well run club for a number of years. I really hope that they go up with us.

Keith O'Neill was a really nice guy, had time for everybody off the pitch - got stick from fans because of his injury record, wasn't his fault.

Seems a likable person, but he absolutely rinsed the club in a way that no other player ever has. He was given a crazy contract which he saw out to the very last penny. A legacy that nearly sank us. It was only selling Maddison that kept us solvent. Without doubt the worst signing we've ever made.

Fashanu and Lawrie Sanchez kept clear of each other and never spoke off the field apparently. Wimbledon was always seen as a tight knit Club, but Fashanu was the exception

I don't want to **** on the writers but he's English why would this be relevant... 'Healey is under contract until 2023 and any prospective summer move to England would appear to be difficult given the new regulations on signing overseas players from lower leagues on the continent following the UK's exit from the EU.'
  45. 1 point
I think it'll be unchanged. Maybe Vrancic will make way for Dowell - this would give us a chance to change it if we are chasing the game late on - but I doubt Farke will drop Maclean.

Hi there "We'll sell all our young players in the summer", "the board have no ambition to get promoted again", what's it like always being wrong?

Yet again the daily vaccinations for the world move on and the total now stands at 193, 291, 612. 87 Countries have now commenced. As you can see the daily number increases by the day and supplies are beginning to show rapid growth. The biggest vaccination campaign in history is underway. More than 193 million doses have been administered across 87 countries, according to data collected by Bloomberg. The latest rate was roughly 6.47 milliondoses a day.
