    Did Billy Gilmour walk in?

Me too, if i start walking now

That's a legitimate way of looking at it. Alternatively you could say that having had the worst season in half a decade the club is clearly in decline and that, despite the two championship trophies, across the whole five years his record is worse than that of the five that preceeded his tenure.

I love the fact that defensive midfield isn't an option on the transfer priority list ... 🤦‍♂️

Hardly a positive is it, having to sell two talented players to balance the books? Straw-clutching at positives, what a mess we are.

That would constitute a Trigger Event, not least for most of the posters on here…

FWIW, he didn't say that 40-60s fans are all drunks, he just said that you wouldn't fill a stadium with drunk 40 - 60s, which is true. It's just a slightly colourful way of putting things. The way some people take offence at any little thing so easily these days is a sad reflection of where we are as a society at the moment. We're heading towards being a society that stifles out anyone who doesn't say exactly the right thing in exactly the right way. Its a precursor to becoming like societies where people can be locked up for saying something that doesn't fit with the party line. First stage of extreme right or left societies - stop or shout down people saying stuff you don't like. Once that is ingrained, it's a slippery slope.

No. The transfer has just been confirmed by the ever-reliable Chris Reeve at TNC...

Little update, today has shown how great the football community can be, he's received video calls from both Tim Krul and Ian Henderson, Austin played football with Hendos nephew. He's also received video messages from Onel Hernandez, Ledley King, Chris Kirkland and Chris Reeve from TNC. As well as NCFC tweeting their best wishes. Football often gets a bad wrap, this shows itself in a great light 👍

Yes. I now own a set of those I'll probably use once a year. Could've spent that £9 on beer instead!

Bit of music from today's radio. Something mellow and something funky.

Not sure on the egyptian geese front im afraid. The garden / woods are full of small deer at the moment. A neighbour of mine introduced me to a bird app which recognises bird noises when they make sounds. I'd definitely recommend it, its called Merlin Bird ID. I would of never of known we have green woodpeckers, common buzzards, kingfishers not to mention a host of others which I couldnt tell you whether they are common or rare.

I’m angry at him. For his attitude and his tendency to make sly digs at our fan base, and his lack of contrition at largely wasting our budgets. This is a forum for opinions on our football club - and I’m entitled to view mine - regardless of how many condescending comments I get in return. Some of which are from seeming enablers of Webber’s behaviour.

I think as a rule if you're going to suggest a player shouldn't be in the squad you have to suggest who gets in instead. Phillips obviously is questionable but I struggle to see an obvious replacement for him.

Doesn’t mean he isn’t Nigerian - you claim to live in Cambridge yet masquerade as a norwich fan unfortunately ; - )

Whatever happened to the £800,000 he borrowed? Boris has now sacked his legal team. He's officially "livid" with them for acting in accordance with Civil Service rules by handing over the information to the Cabinet Office. I sense a gift that will keep on giving . . . 🤣

I do happen to live in a very scenic part Dylano , with many beautiful places within an hour of here, quite a few in the immediate locality too. Ireland does have its drawbacks though.... it's quite an expensive country, some country roads are diabolical , having said that, i doubt I'll ever move back to the UK, this is home now. At a local angling spot last week, which involves a bit of cliff scrambling i was serenaded by the population of Choughs that have steadily increased in my time here. Though not widespread there are pockets of these cute Crovids at the less accessible areas of coastline. A swarm of Bees have made a home in the wall of one of our stone sheds, been there a year now, with our toing and froing right past their entrance not seeming ro cause us or them distress...no dogs or humans have been stung. I'm now going to try to find out if Swallows eat bees , not by experiment but by Google. Well I never, they do. And surprisingly supplement their diet with berries. I did my glass recycling this morning, this is the view from the glass bins. A mile from me house. There is a very nice Pub only 200m out of shot, to the left.

More stupid promises of jam tomorrow from the stupid people who think the stupid CPTPP is the answer. We had all of these stupid promises during the Brexit campaign and we know how that turned out. Stop being so stupid.

Agree completely Wolfie. A good opportunity for those groups to have a voice. Maybe the ladies team might not bother though .

Why didn't he suggest that the Women's team use beach volleyball kits instead of the usual baggy shorts and shirts... he'd have a few more drunk 40-60 year old men attending then. Sorted.

It's a difficult one... You have to also be careful what you put out as anything too big (food wise) may be too big for the youngsters that the parents take back. They say don't put food near nest boxes as this can attract bigger birds who could predate the young. (Corvids, woodpeckers etc) Robins are ground feeders so food in a dish on the ground away from the nest is ideal, you could buy a songbird or robin speciality mix and further grind it up and/or chop up mealworms and soak in water for them.

Making sure that minority groups are represented is an integral part of a fair and equitable society. It's only 'box ticking' if they don't listen to or engage with them once they're on the panel. I would also argue that it absolutely is up to the club to ensure their minority groups are represented, as often it's the marginalised groups who are least likely to come forward and make their voices heard.

If we don’t use the loan market at all, we are both cutting off our nose to spite our face and also making it less likely we’ll succeed. It’s a daft notion that we don’t need to when everyone else does.

This is funny, because it only came to light because Boris won't pay his own legal fees.

Webber's appalling to the fans.... There, that's better....

I think usually fans come into each new season with a sense of hope. Atmosphere is often at its best day one where anything is possible. Two or three signings that address key weaknesses, maybe a couple of solid pre season results to get excited about and I'm sure Carrow Road will be buzzing for the first game. At that point we need to the team to do their part and give the fans hope that can be sustained past August.

I don't like how he belittles previous achievements of the club - saying how we have 5 league winning trophies and he's accounted for 2 of those. As it's dismissing the seasons we've had in the top flight, being founding members, time in Europe and of course milk cup win. These are second flight wins, and one of those was hugely affected with Covid, which he accepts accounted for us having both Cantwell and Emi in the squad which he maybe wouldn't have expected in a 'normal' season. I find it hard to get a take on the real Weber though, and how much of what's said is over-emphasising his character to build a 'I don't give a **** what you say about me' persona to protect his own mental wellbeing (Which he talks about). Or, if it is a true reflection on him as a real person. If it is, and this is what he says publicly, just imagine how he talks about things behind closed doors. I don't doubt he cares for the club, the area and our supporters - but there's clearly a sub-section of fans that he allows to let get inside his head as that's where he tends to drop the ball. If saw the chest-cam footage he's talking, or specifics he alludes to when talking about 'divorcee's and such like, maybe we'd be more appreciative with that context. Same with how he talks about media, what he reads, what he cares about - I think these are also specific swipes. He most definitely does not ignore the noise, in fact, I'd say it's the minor noise which irritates him the most. Certainly an enigma. But honestly, don't really care for it greatly - If I felt he wasn't doing the best he could for us then I'd have an issue, I'm never left feeling that way about him.

A large pod of Minke whales in Tragumna Bay this evening, which is surprising as its very shallow indeed, though it was around high tide and the tides are quite big atm. It's a very enclosed bay , I've lived here 19 years and never seen them inside the bay before. 5 years ago we had eight basking sharks within 50 m of the beaches at the head of the bay. 2 Bass this morning, one for Dinner , one released to grow bigger. Glad I wasnt watching footy today.

That's fantastic, if getting things right is what matters to you. I'll be backing the club and have belief in the coach and recruitment staff to make us stronger for next season. I Really don't care for being 'right', as some evidentially do. Can't see the point in having a personal interest in us failing.

It is difficult. My instinct is that they wouldn't nest there unless they had a source of food but on the other hand I'd like the best possible outcome. They are ridiculously friendly but are already being upset by a blackbird. Blackbirds are the only bird I usually get, hence my excitement.

Adding to this they love suet pellets. They keep the adults going while the young are fledging.

I wish we were a club that spent 20 years in the lower leagues and then in one season spent the GDP of a small Caribbean nation to stay in the top league. Just. It's a bloody fairytale I tell you.

I haven't seen any. There is clearly an issue with birds migrating from Africa.
