5 pointsVery good analysis of Norwich here; https://statsbomb.com/2019/05/a-man-a-plan-a-promotion-norwich-city/ The piece highlighting Buendia’s numbers is further evidence, not that it is really needed, just how special a player he is. Also, lots of bits of analysis I haven’t seen anywhere else.

5 pointsThis is James Kent. I have killed Wolfo. I feel Norwich have had an excellent football season, largely thanks to some excellent performances by various football players, and also some excellent football tactics by our manager. If we continue on this trajectory, we can hope to win some more games of football next season, each of which will give us three points. Please remember to follow me on LinkedIn and Twitter and Facebook, and please please PLEASE give me a job. James Kent

4 pointsYep, phrases such as 'The Stowmarket Two' and 'Nepotism Tom' have been conspicuous by their absence for a number of weeks now.
-
4 pointsKrul is getting back to his peak form and his confidence is restored. A keeper with international and Premier experience will be invaluable behind a young and inexperienced defence next season. There is not one ounce of doubt in my mind that he will have a hugely influential season as first choice keeper.

2 pointsFunny how everyone is down on them when we are doing badly, but now it's different For your info. I've always liked them in charge of us.

2 pointsWhilst I agree with the majority of the rest of your message. This part is rubbish. Neither goal against Wednesday was Krul's fault. He does make mistakes (everyone does), but these were not examples.
-
2 pointsIt’s very easy to look back with the benefit of hindsight. I thought we were doomed after that derby - we were truly awful (and had been leaking goals all season). Credit to Farke and the players for a sensational season (and well done to all the posters who were really patient).
-
2 pointsMartin O'Neill's free kick in the last minute. Just about the best finish to a derby match , ever! I think the word pandemonium was invented about 1 second later
-
2 pointsKrul got stronger as the season went on and was one of the cool heads when the pressure was really on when we hit the final ten games. You can't underestimate that cool calmness and experience when you have such a young defense. I'd be happy to have him as No.1 next season.

2 pointsErm, it's called a rivalry. What is the big obsession with people railing against anything that appears on a football discussion forum that is not to their liking? Criticism of a player's performance? NOT ALLOWED! Discussing the amusing tribulations of our fierce rivals? NOT ALLOWED! Suggesting a player might not be suitable for a Premier League campaign? NOT ALLOWED! This is an NCFC Football Discussion forum and should be a glorious w@nkfest over everything NCFC. Criticism should be outlawed, any mention of any of the other clubs that compete in the same arena, especially our local rivals, should be outlawed. TALK ABOUT WHAT I WANT YOU TO TALK ABOUT AND NOTHING ELSE! Come on guys, I'm meant to be the entitled millennial here.

2 pointsI'd take any of them, but not because we necessarily need or want them. Just because we can.

1 pointCulpable custodians when we’re crap. Lucky when we’re good. Also miracles of medical science as this particular “gangrenous leg” appears to be alive and, excuse the pun (or not), kicking!!

1 pointI've never criticised them, why would i ? they love football, i love football, they love the Club and so do I. So many clubs and supporters are envious of our real Football Club. Though many wouldnt admit it.

1 pointTo my non knowledgeable eye, Louis Thompson looked the perfect Tettey replacement,, strong, quick, good on the ball and positive tackler. If his injuries have not set him back too far , he will be a fine player someday, whether the coming season is too soon for him to be a regular first teamer, i know not. We may have to bring someone in for a while untill LT is up to speed or deemed not good enough for the premier League.....then again, we may not. What is do know, after many years of being involved in youth football is that before his bout of injuries, he was looking very promising, no more no less.

1 pointYou would have been backing him if we’d been relegated too - you’ve had blind faith in all the managers including Hughton and Alex Neil.
-
1 pointNext year might be fairly quiet. The next big thing sounds like Adam Idah, but at 18, they'd probably try to find him a loan at some point next season. I'd missed that Adam Phillips had already left https://www.canaries.co.uk/News/2019/february/phillips-and-aransibia-contracts-terminated/ Loan wise Diallang Jaiyesimi and Sav Morgas were getting decent reviews, but had horrible season-ending injuries, and Simon Power needs more game time. So I can't see anyone really pushing to get in.

1 pointWhatever is this big obsession to persistently continue to bring up the Ipswich on this forum. it should be about NCFC and issues that affect us. I personally do not gloat because a team has dropped out of TC to Div 1 not due to the loyal supporters who go to Portman Rd to watch football, which obviously has been disappointing. The club has been run into the ground by the BOD. Remember the end of last season and the number of people coming on here saying they will not be renewing their season tickets. Lets count our blessing that we have seen some of the best football I can remember in 70 years of supporting NCFC MOVE ON

1 pointI genuinely believe they will never play here again. Don't underestimate the financial mess they are in. Last year their wage bill was 105% of turnover. To comply with FFP in League 1 wages can be no more than 60% of turnover. Added to that they are about to lose £6m in tv receipts and their gate receipts will probably drop, so they have to reduce their wage bill by more than 50%. They are already trying to loan out their goalkeeper because they can't afford to pay him. They have no obviously saleable players. Mick Mccarthy revealed this week that some of their higher earners will be taking a big drop in salary under the terms of their contracts but they are still in an awful mess. Added to all of that they have a manager who has barely won a game in 3 years and appears to have taken leave of his senses. I think they are more likely to be relegated than promoted next season.

1 pointI swear the concept of a 'discussion forum' seems totally alien to so many people on here. Which positions are we allowed to discuss upgrades for?
-
1 pointEvery close season, regardless of promotion or not, the club should be looking at their squad and first team and seeing where improvement can be made. For me, the most obvious position that needs improvement is the goalkeeper. I’ll support Krul for however long he is at the club, but the idea it somehow makes people less of a fan if they point out where improvements could potentially be made is ludicrous.
-
1 pointI wouldn't be too upset if Frank Lampard's Derby County missed out to be perfectly honest, although I do expect them to do it.

1 pointONE DEFEAT IN 13 yelled Wilder at a recent interview. Well that's nothing 0 defeats in 13 is better and 1 DEFEAT in 20 is even better.
