Southampton seem to be cruising to another win. I have to admit I didn't want Russell Martin, but I'm starting to wish he was here. At least we'd have a clear style of play and identity and we wouldn't be fielding players well past their sell-by date just because they can do a bit of sh*thousery.

Looks like Wagner has gone for pure Brexit-ball to combat Millwall, hence the added physicality.

I imagine Rowe, Sainz and Nuñez will be back for Southampton, when we need to keep the ball.

I doubt it. It would mean dropping McLean, unless Gibson has a mare tonight.

It's a team that is good enough to get a result against Millwall, but still keeping the best for the Southampton, and believe me we will need them fresh for that game

McLean is undroppable, apprently.

Well I thought so - as a CB. We finally find his best position but Wagner rolls the Dice. Obviously Wagner feels the 'wall will just lump the ball into the box! Could go pear shaped when they play through the middle.

It's a team that could be good enough to beat Millwall. All to save players for a team that will probably lose to Southampton.

I hope I am wrong though!

Surely he'd have to.

Southampton are a possession-dominant team, so we'll need to keep the ball because it could be a while until we see it again.

Nuñez is probably our best passer and has been one of our best players recently.

Even if it means putting McLean back in defence or playing Nuñez as a ten, he has to play, surely?

Maybe Kenny could play in goal?

Hwang losing the ball and our old men can’t defend! One chance one goal!

Why did we let them run about a mile into the box without trying a tackle?

Lack of legs in our team unfortunately.
