Virtual reality 805 Posted October 4, 2022 Started brightly but very much second best now. Is shaping up to be yet another turgid Dean Smith performance
mastoola 198 Posted October 4, 2022 Wow!!!! we just need to keep a formation and play closer to each other there's no discipline .

Captain Holt 580 Posted October 4, 2022 Turgid is the best word to describe Smith. No matter where we are in the league he is not who I want managing my team. We are better than this. I'd go all out to get Cooper the second he's sacked.

Virtual reality 805 Posted October 4, 2022 Worryingly, Reading seem immune to Smiths usual tactics of boring the opposition into submission

Christoph Stiepermann 1,231 Posted October 4, 2022 Reminding me a lot of the Newcastle away game early in Smiths tenure. Just too slow and when every player in your team wants to pass and move you're too predictable and easy to play against, it's gonna take 8 to 10 killer perfect passes to create chances. We need a direct runner like Hernandez to offer a different threat.
king canary 8,269 Posted October 4, 2022 Well that was pretty poor. Smith needs to get more imaginative in how he sets the team up as the 4-3-3 with Sargent out wide just isn't working. It won't happen but I'd either switch to a back 3 or sacrifice Ramsey to get Sargent up top with Pukki.

Based on that 45 minutes you’re quite right, surely we’ll improve 2nd half though.
percy varco 237 Posted October 4, 2022 Still dont know what Smith’s style is. Cannot see any progression under him. Smith out.
Wibble 150 Posted October 4, 2022 Im fine with being a bit more cautious away from home, but we need some pace and quicker passing the final third.
vlad666 207 Posted October 4, 2022 I’ve tried to get behind smith but I just don’t get any enjoyment out of watching this. I don’t care about the results we’ve been picking up. I feel nothing towards this team.
