Turgid is the best word to describe Smith. No matter where we are in the league he is not who I want managing my team. We are better than this. I'd go all out to get Cooper the second he's sacked.

The only positive is it’s still 0.0.

That actually is positive, because Reading have looked good to me. A point from this would be fine.

Reminding me a lot of the Newcastle away game early in Smiths tenure. Just too slow and when every player in your team wants to pass and move you're too predictable and easy to play against, it's gonna take 8 to 10 killer perfect passes to create chances. We need a direct runner like Hernandez to offer a different threat.

Well that was pretty poor.

Smith needs to get more imaginative in how he sets the team up as the 4-3-3 with Sargent out wide just isn't working. It won't happen but I'd either switch to a back 3 or sacrifice Ramsey to get Sargent up top with Pukki.

Based on that 45 minutes you’re quite right, surely we’ll improve 2nd half though.

Im fine with being a bit more cautious away from home, but we need some pace and quicker passing the final third.

I’ve tried to get behind smith but I just don’t get any enjoyment out of watching this. I don’t care about the results we’ve been picking up. I feel nothing towards this team.

Completely agree. Sargent should be up front or not on.

Very slow and ponderous in possession, allowing Reading to regroup every time we have a chance to attack.

Is it actually possible to be third best with only two teams on the pitch?

A draw is beginning to look like a good result here.
