Backs to the wall smash and grab 0-1. Perfect away performance. Jonny Rowe with the breakaway goal and send the away fans into pandemonium.

To quote David Stern in A Knight's Tale, "with a stick, while he slept".  Failing that, with our team I'd probably go all out on the offensive.  Which is a not overly dissimilar suggestion.

I'd really like to see something similar to when Pukki and Vrancic did a number on them! Sara and Sarge, come on down.

By frustrating them, Stopping them playing and turning the crowd against them.

I can’t see us beating them on merit, a Leeds boil over is required

By going at them. They’re not going to be as content sitting off us and deep with the ball as they were on Sunday. We need to get in their faces and counter them quickly when we get the opportunity. We will be out of the game by half time if we play how we played the last 60mins on Sunday

That would be cool if it were to happen as you say.  I don't know but to beat Leeds but we should have won at home and beating them on their own pitch will not be easy.

I suspect Wagner will believe the only way to beat Leeds is by defending the 0:0 draw for 120 minutes and then winning on penalties.  I’m not expecting anything other than a dour unexciting backs to the wall performance from us.

My head says we don't. My heart says that Sara is going to score a 25 yarder in the last seconds of extra-time.......

We have to play on the front foot high tempo in their faces. it's all or nothing and not a game of chess.

By scoring more goals than them I think is the way to do it. Could be wrong..

You could as it could be decided on penalties, then we would need to score more penalties than them

Hopefully scoring goals to win against Leeds this is the answer to the question of the pink un

As English is your third language the answer is wait until your lot play them and then post it on TWTD

To be fair we should know better than most how to beat a farke team. Stay compact, allow them to make a mistake and capitalise

I think we need something extraordinary from Sara, Sainz or Rowe. They've been doing it all season so I do have a little hope.

My hope too, we have seen these guys score some great individual goals this season, why not tonight 👍

That was the first thing that popped into my head as well. 😂

Make sure Gibson goes up for all corners and free-kicks. His aerial threat could make the difference…..

Kenny creeps up behind the ref when he's not looking and pulls down his shorts ! When the ref turns to find the culprit everybody points to a Leeds player - resulting in us getting a penalty !

You saw a different game to me that day then. We had no midfield and Leeds were able to cut through us like the proverbial hot knife, turning defence into attack in a matter of seconds. Play like that tonight and we are doomed.

1) I don’t think Cowboy is necessarily saying we played well but hey, this forum could always do with a few more posters facing off against each other, so knock yourself out.

2) if Leeds were “were able to cut through us like the proverbial hot knife” then they must have been dire at finishing.

In the first half they were - they probably should have gone in at halftime ahead, but Farke sorted that out as he handed round the biscuits, and they won the second half 3-0.

I am puzzled by your first point. I don't feel that my reply to Cowboy was aggressive in any way. By this message boards standards it was civil.

Apologies if I misread it.

Edit: as my wife would point out, that’s not a real apology. I should say apologies for misinterpreting it.

Im not particularly worried about tonite - am expecting them to really come at us and we always crumble with our awful defence but on the other hand got a feeling we could do something but need our best players to play to their maximum and for Wagner to not go there and defend to get to penalties when we will lose anyway

My worries about penalties is half our best players might have been subbed off by then. If Sarg plays, or Rowe,.cant see them lasting 90mins let alone extra.time
