Soldier on

Abu Kamara as put in a transfer request

Recommended Posts

Just like Mumba he fell in love with the club he was loaned too.

Seriously though he knows we are not going up and wants a chance at a club that is I imagine so good luck to him. If he does not want to play for us then throw him in the under 21s and get him sold asap. Don't need more players who don't want to be here.

Something not quite right here..  .its so frustrating . So what’s the point in sending out best youngsters to get experience..just to sell them for a pittance and another club.. gets all the gains ..so unless silly  money no thanks .if they are that keen on him pay up . . also we so short of pace and wingers in the club why on earth would we want to sell ?

Quite happy to clean house at the right price for all these main character syndrome types who’ve barely done anything in professional football but now think they deserve better.

I suppose if rumors are true Celtic / Pompey / Hull interested.  I was hoping to be done with Celtic and their fans overtaking Idahs instagram to sign him - the smell of desperation. I suppose we could pull their pants down again albeit Kamara has more potential (in my eyes) than Idah.

Really strange and would like to know the reasons.

Given Thorup and Knappers vision for playing style and player type, you’d think this is exactly the place Kamara should want to be. The fact he doesn’t, concerns me. On paper, he’s a ready made replacement for Rowe and an example of the clubs philosophy working.. but not if he leaves.

What’s going on?

Agreed. With Rowe going, he has the opportunity to stake a claim in the team. Do well here and the world is his oyster, as is being proved this close season with Rowe seemingly nearing a move to Marseille and Idah off to Celtic.

tiny bit concerning two of our youngsters want to leave

it is not the club trying to sell Rowe and Kamara  ( i do not think ) its them wanting to leave

whether they are not good enough/ injury prone whatever it is not a good thing youngsters handing in transfer requests when the club ( i Guess ) want to keep them ,

He's never really done enough to impress here, though.

With the rate Knapper is going so far, we'll have an excessive fee for him and one less disruptive player in the dressing room. Win. Win.

It would have pi55ed me off earlier in the summer - but he hasn't shown much in pre-season or the games so far.

I suspect he is not guaranteed a first team birth and is deemed a squad player and is probably unhappy and wants to play week in week out as a starter. If he wants to go then let him leave regardless of talent, at the right price.

I suspect JHT's prefers his wingers to have actual pace.

The club appears to be rotten to the core. Nobody wants to be here and potential incoming transfers rejecting us AFTER visiting the club. Delia could obviously see this coming and jumped ship. 😡

He's had a taste of first-team action and wants more. I don't blame him for that, and if we have signed this Croatian lad he probably thinks he's going to stall.

Probably why he's hatched a plan to leave.

Yeah, my thoughts are Hoff wants him, but wants him to play a way that will take quite a bit of work to get used to and deliver naturally. Why do that when you apparently have three clubs interested in you who are quite happy with your natural game.

Training probably hasn't been much fun for him. It certainly seems to have manifested itself with a couple of really poor performances.

Is his agent the same as Rowe & Idah?

He's just seen an 18 year-old played in preference to him + he may know more of the Crnac than we do. Wants to play regular first team football + will probably get a better contract.

Something appears amiss at the club currently to me, there’s so much unruly and bad behaviour amongst the players so far since Thorup came in. We also had Hanley very unhappy at his substitution at Oxford.

Idah, Rowe and now Kamara all very unhappy, maybe it’s the change in culture that’s brought this behaviour?

It just shows there is no such thing as loyalty in football anymore.

It’s a sad indictment on modern football nowadays.

Just seen that on BBC Sport. Much like Rowe, if he don't wanna be here then cheerio, shut the door on your way out

When he scored against Stevenage ,his lack of reaction said it all. His mind is clearly invested at Pompey .

I wonder Abu has looked at the potential incoming signing and decided it pushes him down the pecking order.

Agents in their ear telling them they can go elsewhere for better money.

He generally looks more moody than Hanley does.

Whats his contract??
Unless it expires this summer then its £10m + addons and he can sit in the reserves and rot alongside his pal Rowe.

Once they have fired their agents and got their heads back in the game they can appologise and resume their career, until, then gardening leave.

What is with the attitude of these little twunts?
I feel Hof needs to stamp his authority and refuse the sale, i mean what happens when a good / valuable / important player decides to pull a stunt like this?
