We needed another striker in the summer . Everyone new it . Sarge injury record is woeful every season.. he was never gonna stay fit .. history said he wouldn’t . And we flogged him as we have no one else and guess what happens. You would have thought they would have learnt from last seasons striker debacle . Poor from the hierarchy at the club this is what penny pinching in key areas gets you .. ..very frustrating and preventable

Love thorup but he lost that game with his subs and tactics there … very frustrating poor poor loss

Good on him ??? Hmmmm not quite the words I want to use but hey …

He came on at Oxford and didn’t take on the fullback once .. same in the cup game hardly set world alight so many back passes no real having a go at the fullback .. yes he scored .. ( but was open goal 2 yards out ) . Nothing in those 2 performances said I should be a starter . But he was getting mins which is the way to ease yourself in. Yet he throws toys out the pram?? Just angers me .. unless those clubs throw silly money in u21 till end of window then let’s see what he wants to do ..

Something not quite right here.. .its so frustrating . So what’s the point in sending out best youngsters to get experience..just to sell them for a pittance and another club.. gets all the gains ..so unless silly money no thanks .if they are that keen on him pay up . . also we so short of pace and wingers in the club why on earth would we want to sell ?

Fair enough didn’t realise this 👍 what about now ? Didn’t Coventry and Stoke and Birmingham have some Japanese players last season ?

We should have been exploring this market 2 years ago as well as the South America one .. a club like ours needs to get quality bargains …no matter what and clearly a market worth scouting …otbc

Woeful draw send youth team ..

The only thing that needs to happen now is 3/4 new signings to inject some life and quality into this squad .. we look miles off it ..

At match today saw nothing at all tactically different from Wagner .. same players same defensive no show .. same no creativity.. but now even worse without Rowe or Sara … we need 3/4 players in this week to change our style … can’t see it happening with our current limited squad

I think most supporters are realistic .. our owners putting nothing in the pot .. and we in transition so we got to wheel and deal .. the problem is when you sell all your best players and don’t replace them properly it tends to come back and burn you. If Rowe goes really struggling to see where the creativity and goals are going to come from . So bringing in replacements is going to be key .. I would rather be keeping our best players and building on them and show more ambition but unfortunately our owners don’t share that view .. so we shall see what the next few weeks brings …

Deffo need a creative mid a DM .. and a striker. Fill those gaps I might get a bit more optimistic

With Sara going and no real transfers in yet through the door don’t feel excited or feel very postive tbh . We look short in all areas … and who we bring in will determine this season for me . Ben Knapper needs to work some magic asap

Well I wasn’t worried but now am … 1 week to go and we look abysmal.. !!! It’s only pre season but wtf … alarm bells ringing badly … I hope this sporting director has got players lined up as we need 2/3 in this week ..
