Ben worked at Arsenal with Cuesta for about four years and is believed to be good friends with him. Looks to be the next superstar manager in waiting. And is now interested in taking his first steps into management. Will be well pleased if he is appointed.

Sounds like he's a bit delusional about his stature in the game then really.

7 unsuccessful months at Chelsea and he things he's swimming in a pool with Mourinho and Ancellotti.

I think it is for Cuesta to turn down.

What about Craig Bellamy ?

Would love this.

Still calls the City home, nothing but good things to say about the club.

Worked with a progressive young manager.

Incredibly determined and hard working.

And my first City hero.

I have a life outside of football 🤣🤣🤣

Every football page, every week, for two months:

"30-year-old Englishman Will Still is now X games unbeaten at Ligue 1 club Reims! He learnt his skills on Football Manager and Reims get fined €25,000 every game because he doesn't have his UEFA Pro Licence yet!"

This went on until they finally lost. It was about 16 games in the end.

Much better looking short list than for our previous vacancies (apart from Cooper)

Danny Rohl at Sheff Wed?

Rather have Swiss Rohl.

Still, Cuesta, Rosenior and Cooper would all be good appointments IMO. As would Potter, obviously, but not a cat in hell's chance of him dropping down to the Championship.

Done a great job, and has good coaching pedigree.

Yeah sorry, Rohl has done a great job at Wednesday. I was just making a childish joke 🙂

If someone were to publish any more pages of the "possibles" I think we'll start to see our own names appearing. After all, most of us have been managing the club with more success than many of the incumbents - or so we claim.

As i said in a previous thread, arteta was Peps no.2 and learnt from him, now Cuesta has learnt from Arteta.

Thats why id like to give him a shot. He's learnt and been moulded from the best

Back then Chelsea left ex managers on the payroll rather than give them a pay off. That way they were forced to resign if they wished to work elsewhere.

So Rosenior not good enough for Hull, did worse than Norwich despite some significant investment, but you think he would be a good appointment!

Eh? When did I suggest Rosenior? Quite the opposite, I said no thanks to him.
