Glenn Roeder

Recommended Posts

Might not have been a great manager for us, but that's an irrelevance. A brain tumour is a bad way to go, and 65 is no age to die.

Farewell, Glenn Roeder.

Rip glen roeder.

Was part of a the most difficult part of our modern history.

Can we remember some of his best games, best and worst signings and some of his best sayings... I'm sure radio Norfolk had a little snipit of him as a feature?

Indeed not one of our loved managers, but not nice to see the poor guy lose his battles. RIP Glenn.

We can certainly thank him for Wes Hoolahan.

Slight irony that "hucks6" was the poster that started this thread. Not sure the actual Hucks will be particularly mourning him.

I suspect the actual Hucks will be infinitely more classy than posting something like this within minutes of his death being announced.

A terrible loss to his family and friends and at such a young age.

RIP.

Sorry, can't remember anything good about his time here.

Somebody has lost their life so not too sure if that is at all relevant.

Why wouldn't he? 65 is no age. He was someone we knew because of his connections to our club and this is sad news for his family.

Very sorry to hear this news. Although Glenn Roeder was far from being one of our most loved managers it's often forgotten that he did a very good job in his first season with us - saving us from what looked like near certain relegation when he took over.

65 is far too young and so sad to hear that he suffered from a long illness before passing away.

RIP Glenn Roeder.

Very sad- 65 is too young.

It also isn't that hard to remember anything good from his time here. We were bottom when he took over and at one point looked like an outside bet for the play offs. That first half a season was actually really good fun.

Sad news.

However, on a more general note, when did 65 become "no age" and "way too young to die"?

The average life expectancy in the UK is 81. So probably then.

And yet you felt it appropriate to do exactly the same...

What a vile hipocrite you are.

Not a big fan of his by any stretch but sorry to read of his passing at a relatively young age these days of such an awful condition to have lived with.

Do you ever make a single post on here without it being vitriol towards other posters and staying classy on a thread such as this is beyond you ?

I have no more to say.

Well said. And the general hypocrisy on this thread is too much for my taste.
