EVERYONE UNDERSTANDS IT WOULD BE BETTER IF LEEDS WON. Some of us are just looking on the bright side and back our chances of beating the 22nd best team in the league...
Canary Wundaboy 1,359 Posted March 16, 2019 Yeah, I laughed. Having their best keeper out suspended, best CB injured.... Classic Leeds implosion.
Crabbycanary3 994 Posted March 16, 2019 It doesn't 'matter' because there is nothing WE can do about it. We can only influence our own game. We keep winning then it doesn't matter

Making Plans 936 Posted March 16, 2019 There's only one Hernandez in this league and he don't play for Leeds

keelansgrandad 6,679 Posted March 16, 2019 Fact is, our football is better than either of theirs. Despite Leeds fans assertion we are chokers, our football is economical and progressive and will stand up. They have looked very poor and Bamford has been powder puff and doesn't like attention.

Branston Pickle 3,661 Posted March 16, 2019 (edited) I’d have much preferred a draw than a win to either side. Ultimately we are still top and if we go about our own business properly we will still be 4 clear of second, in this case it’s Sheff U instead of Leeds. You're right. Might not be the best result for us but if we win we are four points clear at the top. That's still one hell of a good position to be in
BaltimoreBird 127 Posted March 16, 2019 Leeds drop points at home to both teams above them in the table. Can only blame themselves.

GJL Mid-Norfolk Canary 1,761 Posted March 16, 2019 'If' we were to go up, in the interests of staying up I'd rather Sheff Utd came up with us too.....and Bristol C via the playoffs....oh and hope Cardiff stay up aswell!
Drazen Muzinic 1,445 Posted March 16, 2019 Still top, 5 points ahead of 3rd and a game at the Merry Millers to come. Time for a quick squint at WACCOE. Â
Essjayess 307 Posted March 16, 2019 This game was always going to produce negatives and positives for City, namely both sides could not lose or both sides could not win. As its turned out, as of now, the tightness has has tightened but it means City are gauranteed to be top dogs thru the international break, no matter what they do at Rotherham. OTBC. Branston Pickle 3,661 Posted March 16, 2019 Think I’m right that this is 7(?) clean sheets on the bounce for Sheff U
SwindonCanary 455 Posted March 16, 2019 The general thought was that, once again Leeds would blow it. Maybe this is the start.
cornish sam 954 Posted March 16, 2019 Once again Leeds proving that if they don't score early they really struggle. Didn't want a Sheffield utd win, but it's happened in the best way with the red card and injury (which I hope isn't serious but enough to keep him out for a couple of matches)
Sooty57 403 Posted March 16, 2019 Like most I would have preferred  a draw so both teams 'lost' points, or a Leeds win to make it more of a two horse race, but as others have said it is within our own hands.... which is not the worst situation to be in by any means.
JF 694 Posted March 16, 2019 Hey ho. With the right results we could have had one foot in the Premier League by the end of the day. That result means that won’t be the case now. Just have to keep doing what we’ve been doing by being the best and most consistent team in this league.

HertsCanary93 222 Posted March 16, 2019 Leeds were very poor in that second half. We can't control these games. If we keep winning, we'll go up.

Ian 1,129 Posted March 16, 2019 Even more important to bring 3 points back today if we can. Not the ideal result, but to be honest - is it that bad that now two teams need to better our results in two games rather than one?
