pete 324 Posted March 6 Just found Boro v Norwich on youtube, strange that must need NCFC in browser
Cowboy 216 Posted March 6 2 minutes ago, Capt. Pants said: Goreham now saying it looks like a red. If we appeal and fail the ban is increased to 5 games! I thought that at first view based largely on Barnes and others' reactions and attempts to delay the ref. But hard to tell from the replays.
skittles 13 Posted March 6 Placheta can play on the left……….. oh no, to save a few thousand we let him go 6 months early!!!!
Capt. Pants 4,336 Posted March 6 Goreham saying slow motion doesn't look favourable on Sainz.
Foxy2600 308 Posted March 6 I got this vision of Barnes wiping Borja Sains round the changing room floor like tea towel
Mason 47 1,435 Posted March 6 Red card has pretty much ruined this game for us. Regardless however it has been a terrible capitulation since the sending off as Boro had their laces tied together and have still managed to cobble together two goals. Real shame. But definitely a continuing facet of the Wagner approach that we look good until we lose a first team player.
S_81 927 Posted March 6 Sainz is a fool. It’s a soft red but he’s done enough to let Howson and the ref give that. And he’s cost us dearly here.
Satriales 714 Posted March 6 2 minutes ago, Feedthewolf said: Or he could have been livid at Sainz for doing it in the first place... I dunno. Just been reading Boro fans comments on twitter, very large majority of them don't think it was a red, but we're happy with the lifeline given to them.

mannings bandy legs 401 Posted March 6 4 minutes ago, skittles said: Gibson drawn to the ball like a **** to ****. If he had stayed with his man that goal wouldn’t have happened.  Gibson reverting to type. Bloody awful defending!!

The Bristol Nest 521 Posted March 6 Sorry guys, just not a red. A lot of people make the effort to watch 11 v 11. This casually flucks it up for the travelling fans. Poor from the EFL.
GJL Mid-Norfolk Canary 1,821 Posted March 6 (edited) 1 minute ago, repman said: Slow motion always makes things look worse I've seen it in slow motion..if anything it makes the refs decision look even worse Absolutely pathetic Edited March 6 by GJL Mid-Norfolk Canary
JonnyJonnyRowe 562 Posted March 6 15 minutes ago, GJL Mid-Norfolk Canary said: Dont know how many more seasons Howson has left in him...but thats the last time he'll get a good reception at carrow rd. Fuc king cheat Agreed, gone right down in my estimations. If there is any justice in the world he'll play one more season and the final game of his career will be Norwich away, so he can be booed by 20,000 people. Pathetic piece of play acting. He also downed tools to force his Middlesbrough move, people seem to have forgotten that.
repman 646 Posted March 6 He may have given the ref a decision to make but the ref has still made the wrong one, Ayling gave the ref a decision to make early on with his lunge and there he decided not to even card him.
Michael Starr 526 Posted March 6 Potentially a hugely costly mistake by Sainz that may cost us a play off place. Barnes yelling at Sainz to get off the pitch. I don't blame him. So stupid!
Northluck C 30 Posted March 6 Not sure where Rob Butler is getting the 5 match ban thing from. That would only be if the FA deem it a ‘frivolous’ appeal which 1. It clearly isn’t and 2. I haven’t heard of happening to any club in years.
Capt. Pants 4,336 Posted March 6 3 minutes ago, repman said: Slow motion always makes things look worse Well that's what our appeal will be based on.
hogesar 9,836 Posted March 6 It's not a red but still, don't even get close to Howson their Sainz. Regardless, the incompetency of useless bald c*nt Bobby Madley strikes a f*cking gain

Bomber 51 Posted March 6 Just seen lots of replays and Sainz gives the ref a decision to make — although not the worst contact he definately catches Howsons leg with his studs after the initial tackle - the man is a hot head and has now basically lost us this game got a 4 match ban increased to 5 if any appeal fails
Indy 3,352 Posted March 6 Even with that sending off we just can’t defend, all of them switch off! Is it an age thing? Is it that reactions are slower with the older defenders? Poor really poor we need a massive revamp at the back regardless of who comes in and which division we’re in!
repman 646 Posted March 6 The worst bit is Madley will write in his report he saw it clear as day when he was clearly going off the reaction of Howson, who 'isn't that type of player' which would undoubtedly factor into his decision even though it shouldn't.

Channon’s Windmill 344 Posted March 6 Just looking at our CBs tonight, Kenny needs to return to the back 4 . Hanley and Gibson do not work.
City 2nd 191 Posted March 6 25 minutes ago, Capt. Pants said: The reaction from the players, particularly McLean, suggested they knew a red card was coming. 4 match ban according to Goreham. No more than he deserves. Cost city a result with his stupidity!
Clever Farke 67 Posted March 6 The only reason it became a red is because Howson belatedly hopped around on one leg pointing to his thigh. ‘Look ref, looook ref!’
