Canary Wundaboy 1,359 Posted February 10 10 minutes ago, nutty nigel said: When did a point away in the champs become a bad result? When we’re leading after 70 minutes away at a bottom 3 side on a wretched run and the head coach makes subs that throw away our advantage and a system that was winning us the game, we lose the initiative and throw away 2 points. If we’d won today we’d be level on points with the top 6. Again, we’ve fallen agonisingly short via a decision from the head coach that is clearly questionable.

It's been a pretty lean time for the whiners of late, at last they have something to attack City with now. Compensates for their lot slipping further away from an automatic spot, I suppose. PurpleCanary 5,570 Posted February 10 On balance (as a Libran) I thought a draw was a fair result. I suppose that makes me a 50/50 percenter…
S_81 815 Posted February 10 13 minutes ago, nutty nigel said: When did a point away in the champs become a bad result? When we threw two away to gain one. We were in the ascendancy and his subs changed that. It’s right to scrutinise poor decision making.

I suppose that makes me a 50/50 percenter… You’re always a fence sitter! ⚽️😂 As Nutty said a point away is a decent enough return, only criticism that can be said is choice of subs and starting 11 given illness and injuries lack of full fitness! Certainly wouldn’t have started Barnes nor finished with him as the one striker he’s just not got the legs for 90 minutes or the game playing up top on his own! But take a point and move forwards to Tuesday.

DraytonBoy 159 Posted February 10 The majority of the negative comments are simply borne out of frustration, 2-1 up and in control Wagner completely changes the shape of the side which let QPR back into it. 4

TheGunnShow 5,953 Posted February 10 QPR were in some form coming into this so I'm not sure why an away game, against a team fighting to stay up that's hit some form is supposed to be a 3-point banker, frankly. Especially in the Championship!

Yes, they were quite good and looked like a team who probably won't be going down. But we had weathered the storm and looked in control of the game until Wagner for some reason best known to him decided to disrupt what looked like a very comfortable situation.
