Whose car is it anyway?

Recommended Posts

In the car park of the flats where the pub used to be on the corner of King street/carrow Road there's a lime green sports car. It had a foreign plate which you now can't see as the car is covered in dust.

I'm sure it's not moved for at least a couple of years. I notice it every game.

Only a footballer would have so much spare cash/be dumb enough to leave it there right!? I wonder whose it is!

Yes I've noticed that. Definitely been abandoned. I think it's a Porsche Panamera.

My first thought was drug dealer I have to say. Based on **** all 😁

I've just googled it...

Overseas student as suggested in the Reddit link sounds fairly likely.

Surely a drug dealers car would have been removed by now and sold at a police auction?

Great football pub the Kingsway was, hence my username!!

Only if they'd been caught/convicted. Might have done a runner...

Anyway foreign student or someone who's returned home seems more plausible. Especially given the Saudi plates

Joe Strummer returned to England from Spain in a hurry as his wife was about to give birth to their second daughter. He left his car in a car park in Madrid and forgot about it for years. Eventually someone made a film about it.

If someone gets a photo of it next time I’ll run a search on it

Not someone like Normann, perhaps?

Normann didn't live there. He lived on Bracondale.

It's not a footballers, but I couldn't tell you who the guy is. He was in the country pre-covid because it had been moved and parked into one of our rental prop spaces, when it shouldn't have been. It got a long list of tickets and had a flat tyre at that point. We did get hold of him and he moved it to where it is now. Each one of those spaces is allocated to a flat though, and due to a ridiculous leaseholder issue the spaces are in real demand so whoever it is is still paying the extortionate management fee's at that block....

Maybe we can go 'claim it', @TIL 1010 uses his previous experience to pull a few strings and fake the documentation, then @nutty nigel sets up a raffle for it?  Everyone's a winner, right?!

We just need someone gullible enough to take it.

In fact, I heard it was Daniel Farke's and you can still smell him on the seats @lake district canary (?)

Given the Saudi plates and the proximity to Carrow Road, the only realistic explanation is that there were indeed Arabs and camels marching down the street and that Delia and Michael had them abducted, tied and gagged and they’re now locked in the cupboard with the ACN flags.

Flipping heck. What a waste of a beautiful car. It's going to rot.

Crazy isn't it! Depending on the spec, they range from £80k to £150k.
