percy varco 199 Posted August 4, 2022 3 points to Wigan. I remember Eddie Waring saying that on a Saturday Afternoon on Grandstand
The Real Buh 3,446 Posted August 4, 2022 I know this about Wigan it doesn’t matter what league you or they are in it’s literally ALWAYS bad to lose to them because they a literally Wigan. If you can’t beat Wigan with their 4 fans then why bother at all 🤣

Although perhaps we should applaud Keane, for being completely turd for Ipswich and then becoming prolific as soon as he left them - that's quite funny. Canary Jedi 579 Posted August 4, 2022 They’ve just been promoted so are likely to be a more cohesive team than us! You often see that with promoted sides. Bags of confidence, able to play passes knowing their team mate will be in the right place. Certainly doesn’t sound like us!
JB 115 Posted August 4, 2022 Pointless football club. No fans.
Nuff Said 5,153 Posted August 4, 2022 I used to work with a long time Wigan season ticket holder. He would complain about the younger fans who had started supporting the club in its PL days and who thought they should be spending millions on new signings. He thought the club’s proper place was bouncing around between League 1 and the Championship. No ambition. 😉
TheGunnShow 5,977 Posted August 4, 2022 Couple of friendly tips for the away leg: 1. Doesn't matter which train station you get off at (Wallgate or Wigan North Western), the ground's about 20/25 minutes walk away (both stations are 50 yards away from each other on opposite sides of the same main road). 2. If you've got a bit of time and fancy better food than a Wigan Kebab, the Fat Olive is a cracking Italian-themed (but plenty of dishes that aren't) restaurant just north of the town centre. Not cheap, but consistently very good indeed. 3. Oh, yeah, Uncle Joe's Mint Balls. Nearest you'll get to that Dutch J/izz guy.
KeiranShikari 1,425 Posted August 4, 2022 I remember really wanting us to sign Henri Camara back in the day, he played for Wigan.

Rugby is their thing, which is fine, but it makes their football club pointless and with null support. Is what it is, but that is what they are, bruv.
