nutty nigel 7,554 Posted October 3, 2018 Welcome to Rays Funds, supported by Asset Angels, Turner European Consulting and Kare Plus. Week ten and already one quarter of the way through our Rays Funds season. In the hot seat for the final six picks this week we have our great friend Lake District Canary. Lakey’s won twice before when making these selections as well as a win making the Norwich picks. Although exiled a long way from home Lakey still gets to games, he’s a great guy, and I always look forward to meeting him in the Nelson when he can get there. Lakey’s also a great supporter of the whole Rays Funds community effort and is involved in all the things we do on this board. I’d love Lakey to get our first win of the season so lets help him with our very best selection from the games played on Sat, Sun or Mon of this weekend which are listed on Bill Hill or Bet 365. We have another top PUP making the Norwich selections with our draw expert Wooster in the hot seat for our game against Stoke. Wooster has already selected four correct draws in the first nine weeks seeing him on +5.39 in our profitability league. He’s also has a hat-trick of previous wins when making these final selections in previous years. Wooster is another of our exiled fans who travels miles to watch our beloved team. Like Lakey he’s a joy to meet and I’m thankful to have done so through this great community. Wooster also supports the whole Rays Funds community effort and although I didn’t specifically plan it, I’m loving introducing Wooster and Lakey on the same thread. Wooster, you have a tenner to spend split how you like between the PUPs selections and your own. These companies who support our work to raise funds for the CSF and our wonderful Downe''s Syndrome Team of boys and girls have all renewed their support for another year. This is reflected in the new totals on Ray’s signature So we would like to say a massive thank you to: - http://www.assetangels.co.uk/ https://www.facebook.com/assetangels http://www.turnereuropeanconsulting.com/ https://www.kareplus.co.uk/norwich/ If any other companies out there would also like to support our efforts, we''ll be happy to add you to our list of links on this thread every week. So now I’ll hand the thread over to Lake District Canary and Wooster. Remember there’s no pressure because we are all going to be doing our best to help you to success. We all stand together with the single aim of raising money for the Community Sports Foundation and our fabulous Downs Syndrome boys and girls. Good luck all you PUPs... take it away Colin and Laurence ... the thread is yours.......[:)]........... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As always I leave you with Ray’s signature which now reads :- Carve their names with pride.Yankee,5,Fellas,3,P''boro,2,Mr Chops,2,NewYork,2, Inch High,5, Blahblahblah, NCFC_Shaun, 1st Wazzock,4, Fonejacker,3, Norfolkbroadslim,3, Norfolkchance1,2, Scooby,3, Trent Canary,3, Cosmic Twin,6, Graham Humphrey, Leedscanary,3, NcfcStar, Herman, Delia’s Devonshire Dirtbox,3, Lappinitup, Statto, Mandie Moo,3, Mr Bump, Kathy,2, Til1010,2, Snake-eyes, Vindo,2, NWC, Hughesy, Gregt,2, GMF,3, SwindonCanary, Twidio, Hector Brockelbank, Lake District Canary,2, Bor Bor Bor, Yellowfuture, Chellecity, Diesel Doris, Lessingham Canary, Molly Windley, Parma Ham’s gone mouldy,2, Feedthewolf,2, AJ, JB, PurpleCanary,2, Hoola Han Solo, Diane, Hissing Sid, yes Norfolkchance1 £2038 for the Academy, and £2475 for the Community Sports Foundation. wooster 134 Posted October 3, 2018 Thank you for the very generous introduction NN and I''m very happy to be picking this week in conjunction with LDC - he has already cost me at least £50 with a PuPs bet over the last five games and I hope to add to that if we beat Stoke on Saturday. I think I''ve come to respect LDC''s optimism and I hope I can adopt it in the coming months.Nevertheless, for this week''s game against Stoke I would appreciate cold-blooded realism. I''m travelling over to Norwich early on Saturday morning so I''ll aim to get final picks to NN by 9pm on Friday. Your help will be greatly appreciated though, as all academic texts state, any remaining errors are my own.Good luck LDC and all PuPs

AJ 1,224 Posted October 4, 2018 Hi all,This week I''m taking a trip across the pond to back Guingamp vs Montpellier for an AWAY WIN. Amazingly good odds at the moment considering it is bottom vs 3rd and Montpellier are unbeaten in 7 and have the joint lowest goals conceded and Guingamp have conceded the highest and scored the second fewest goals this season. But hey, maybe the betters know something I don''t...For the Norwich bet it has been a couple of quiet games for Pukki, I''ll expect him to be back amongst the goals by scoring first!Good luck everyone! Parma Ham's gone mouldy 2,225 Posted October 4, 2018 In bocca al lupo 🐾🐕 Laghino....! 🌊Like the look of Slovakia this week for:Slogan Bratislava vs Senica - Home winAs for Wooster’s Norwich bet, think that Vrancic might figure prominently, so Vrancic to score looks a nice one to cover 👍Parma
ZLF 274 Posted October 4, 2018 On a dreadful run so without great confidence i am going for a luton home win.For city this is a quandary of a game. Stoke have started scoring well, scoring 10 in their last 6 away games, without winning any. However our games with them rarely get to three goals and our last 6 home games. Which pattern will prevail?? A score draw is a far from confident pickGood luck pups!

dj11 377 Posted October 4, 2018 In another attempt to arrest my losing streak, I will go for a Portsmouth home win against Gillingham. For Norwich I would suggest over 2.5 goals. It would be great if we could bring in the six this week.

93vintage 16 Posted October 5, 2018 FA Cup third qualifying round: Hemel Hempstead vs Ramsgate, home win @ 1.36 (4/11) Bet365.Home v Away (last season)Hemel at Home: P21-W12-D5-L4 37/20 - 5th National League South (currently 14th)Ramsgate Away: P23-W6-D3-L14 38/52 - 16th Isthmian Division One South (currently 10th)Ramsgate are two divisions below Hemel Hempstead and are in the third qualifying round for only the second time since the 1970s after a 3-2 away win at Southern League Premier side Gosport Borough.League restructuring saw Gosport avoid relegation despite finishing 2nd bottom and being 31 points from ''safety''. So Ramsgate''s victory was against a team which under normal circumstances would be playing this season at an equivalent level to them.Hemel Hempstead have just broken a seven game winless run by winning their last two. During this barren spell their opponents included top three sides from this or last season, plus newly relegated Torquay, and they managed creditable draws away at Dartford and Welling. In the last round of the cup Hemel won 6-1 at Bowers & Pitsea, a team which finished 3rd last season in Isthmian Division One North (currently 5th). Assuming that Isthmian Divison One North and South are roughly at the same level, Hemel have already convincingly beaten a better side than Ramsgate in this competition.Hemel have a side full of experienced older players, and will be up against a young Ramsgate team filled with current and former youth products. Compared to similar inter-divisional ties being played this weekend, the odds on this look very good.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I can''t see beyond another draw or narrow win in our game against Stoke. Ten home matches for us without a draw and Stoke having three 2-2 away draws, plus scoring in each away game, would make me think about backing a 1-1 with more than a token amount.Good luck LDC and Wooster, and all other pickers this week. PurpleCanary 5,571 Posted October 5, 2018 Group 1 of the Norwegian 2. Division.Raufoss to win at home against Hanefoss.Raufoss, in the one automatic promotion place but still needing points to stay that way, have an 8-2-1 and 30/9 home record. They have drawn two and lost one of their recent games, but the last home game was a 3-1 win against the team in second place.Hanefoss, bottom and all but down, have a 1-2-8 and 14/31 away record. Apart from a home draw they have lost their last 8, with a 7/29 goal difference. The current odds are a reasonable 1/5.---For the match bet I suggest Klose to score the last goal, at 33/1.Good luck to all!
