  1. Kelty hearts v Buckie thistle - home win. for Norwich I will go for BTTS - No.
  2. I'm gonna jinx Brighton hopefully and my pick this week is: Norwich v Brighton - Away Win (really hope this fails) For the match bet I am going to go with draw HT/NCFC full time. Good luck guys.
  3. Before the Arsenal game Brighton had conceded the least amount of shots in the Premier League, not sure if that stat still stands but we are toothless up front and don't create enough, Brighton look good going forward can only see one result in this I'm afraid!
  4. Stockport County V Aldersot Town - HOME WIN. Good luck @nutty nigel I'm sure you will pick 6 winners!
  5. Right then guys sorry I’m late nutty been busy and now off to a wedding. Picks are all home wins with the exception of MK Dons. CHELSEA v Southampton BAYERN MUNICH v Frankfurt RB LEIPZIG v Bochum Doncaster v MK DONS QUEENS PARK RANGERS v Preston (my pick) GRIMSBY v Dover thanks for all your selections some great ones in there.
  6. Thanks for the intro @nutty nigel always an honour to pick the final six and hopefully we can get some money in the pot this week, that nearly miss for the £450 still haunts me . Keep the picks coming in guys will look to make my selection late Friday evening/early Saturday morning if that's on Eddie? For my Norwich bet I shall keep it simple with both teams to score.
  7. It's all relative isn't it. Whilst we would snap hands off for that every season Spurs are a much bigger club than us and have aspirations of top 4 finishes and winning trophies every season so can see why their fans might be a little unhappy, they have declined since they left WHL. They were also dross on Sunday against Arsenal.
  8. Afternoon all. Tried to go with a banker last weekend and Man City drew with Saints, shows my luck this season. Gonna go north of the border this week and go for Kelty Hearts v Stranraer HOME WIN. For the Norwich bet I shall go with Andros Townsend to score anytime. Good luck one and all!
  9. If we are going to pursue with 3 at the back I think a 3-4-3 is the way to go, we look narrow last night going forward. Something like this would suit I think Krul Omobamidele, Kabak, Gibson Aarons, Normann, Mclean, Williams Sargent, Pukki, Tzolis Thought Gilmour has his best game for us last night but need more steel in the midfield which I think Mclean can provide for a game like this.
  10. Still rather annoyed. Some of the defending was pathetic and embarrassing last night. Big reaction needed Saturday.
  11. Why is everyone suddenly clambering for a 3/5 at the back formation? What evidence is there to show this will solve our problems? Need to go back to what we know. Gunn Aarons, Kabak, Omobamidele, Williams/Giannoulis Normann, PLM/Mclean Rashica, Gilmour, Tzolis Sargent 4-2-3-1 has worked so well for us over the years and I'd be excited to see how those players got on against Liverpool resting Teemu and Grant for Saturday.
  12. Evening all. @nutty nigel all good for the 2nd October, thanks for thinking of me, hopefully will get a winner this time. For the match pick this week I shall go with Man City v Southampton - Home Win For the Norwich game shall go with Tzolis to score anytime. Good luck to all especially the two pickers @Graham Humphrey & @The Great Drinkell
  13. Need to get a W under my belt so playing it VERY safe with England v Andorra - Home Win. Good luck!.
  14. What we have does is improved the squad as a whole and now have good depth on the bench to change things up. Hypothetically speaking you could start a team of: Krul Aarons, Hanley, Kabak, Williams Gilmour, Normann, Lees-Melou Rashica, Pukki, Cantwell. Bench: Gunn, Gibson, Gianoullis, Sorensen, Mclean, Tzolis, Dowell, Idah, Sargent. Still leaving Zimbo, Omobamidele, Rupp, Placheta, Mumba, Byram, McGovern. Options there to move Todd/Dowell into the 10 start Tzolis over a midfielder, any of those on the bench could comfortably come into the first 11. This isn't my preferred 11 just an example of who strong the squad is on the whole now.
  15. Ohh 100%, this blokes comment I think coupled with all the other rubbish from the media this week just make me laugh.
