With his penchant for fast, direct attacking football and ability to motivate big names using Swansea as a stepping stone Gary Monk would be someone I''d be scouting incase we somehow lose Neil.We were sh1te under Lambert for his last half a season here yet people are clamoring for him to return. Swansea being slightly better than us for a third of a season wouldn''t put me off him, at all.This is good for us though, they''re likely to appoint someone from completely left-field. This could (and I emphasise could) be great for them, but odds are they''ll appoint someone no better than Monk but without the influence over the players he had and will be fighting relegation all year Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

They can''t score to save their lives atm and have 1 win in 11.They''ll get Rodgers and sign some decent players in Jan and be fine.Does beg the question of what we do. I have 100% confidence Neil is a cracking manager but do we need someone with more pulling power? Our squad are yet to win a game against half decent opposition and we don''t seem to have the draw to bring in the quality that can get us them results. lake district canary 4,823 Posted December 9, 2015 Monk has looked a forlorn figure this season, has not had the know how or personality to maintain/improve Swansea. Young managers are fine as long as they develop, but if they stand still, they risk getting swamped by the pressure. As for AN, he has had a tough start in the prem this season after a fantastic last season. How he copes/adapts will show how good a manager he can be at ths level. Whats amusing is, if there was even the slightest chance he would come back here, he probably wouldn''t advocate it at all-the fact that it as close to an impossibility in football as you could get makes it all the more attractive for him to push-like the lad at school who only ever fancies the completely unattainable women.Isn''t going to happen.
