I have to say that I was far from impressed by him on Saturday.

Going forward he has Whaley syndrome and can''t see that he has a good cross [against MK Dons] and pace to burn

He always seems to only want tojust get to the ball. When he could easily get to the ball first if he put in some effort.

He likes to run next to attackers without actually putting in a challenge. It was like he was waiting for them to over hit it so he can show he is quicker and get the ball of them without getting his knees dirty.

I don''t want to be harsh to him, but he needs muchos maracas!!

There was a bit on sat where Spillane told him to get back to half way line during corner, semi told him fcuk off and was staying up front, this left WLY on the half way line. Luckilly I can lip read. His body language is a bit sloppy too.

Just to illustrate what he can do if he wants to! when he gets the ball in forward positions, this is what I hope to see from him, it is not frequent enough though. Is it confidence?

Yeah,he always ''nearly'' does something every game. Usually a searing run down the right followed by a p!!s poor cross.

For their 2nd goal, he ambles back in his own good time whilst they''re breaking dangerously, then when he finally makes it, he allows his man to nod it in without even having to jump. Absolutely disgraceful.

Had he, by some miracle, scored in injury time, i''d be saying the same thing. He is a cancer within the team, and needs cutting out. It truly amazes me how he''s pulled the wool over managers'' and fans'' eyes for so long. Lambert is no fool; it won''t be long before he kicks this scumbag out.

He''s only playing as we have no cover at right back apart from maybe Spillane. One of the first signings Lambert will make will be a right back or even 2 right backs so we never have to see that useless mug again.

There was also a superb assist to McLeod that rolled just past our far post.

Drury offered a more consistent attacking threat than Ots but was also able to fulfill the key task of his job - ie defending.

Lambert was furious for conceeding from a set piece.  Watch the two goals again,  they were both free headers because Ots once a again fell asleep and allowed an opponent have a free header before he realised there was a danger.  Check the photo on p23 of the soopa soaraway suns goal supplement today to see just how far off making a challenge for the second goal.

Has anyone noticed semi has awesome man norks? Seriously, they are 5 feet ahead of him!

Anyway, aside from that he is terrible, I admire some of the runs he makes but as many people have said, no end product. Defensively he has always been found wanting and I for one do get nervous when teams attack as the seem to know that Semi gets caught ball watching leaving a lot of space behind him. We need a solid right back, and quickly, I don''t care if it is a loan, we need to do something to either make him step up his game or replace him all together.

Semmi has a bad habbit of getting lost and clueless for most of the time he''s on the pitch, on one occasion on Sat we had a good attacking move from the right M Spillane passed the ball to him and he was totaly gob smacked hadn''t a clue what to do with it,    Did''nt look up, but  put the ball at the feet of a Charlton player, Being hard of hearing as I am I have learned to lip read, Spillane told him what he thought of him, sorry can''t write down what he said but fortunate for us Spillane was quick enought to spoil the counter attack, but another plus is good job Doc was missing i''m sure he would have given them a free cick at that point and would probably lost us the match

He''s hopeless, dippy and in his own little world half the time. He never markes who he is meant to and is always up the other end of the pitch trying to score himself.

I know I''m coming to the party late on this one, but IMO for the second goal it wasn''t a free header as such. Semmi was in a good position tight to Shelvey on the goal side and just didn''t actually challenge for the ball. I don''t know if he was fouled but a player of Jon''s physique should not be giving way that weakly to a striker regardless of his size. I know Shelvey ''s a big bloke and will obviously  be an absolute superstar in the future he''s still only 17, a player of Semmi''s experience should be able to out do him on such a tame cross particularly when he''s positioned himself intelligently in the first place.

when he first came to the club, I thought he was the first decent right back we''ve had since Edworthy.

I think there''s a decent player there(somewhere), at it''s been proven in the past when he was in the league one team of the year with Crewe. What it is that''s making him underperform is anyones guess though. Some times he just seems to be on a different planet. Other times he''ll be burning down the wing and posing a threat .

Has all the things physically you would want in a right back, but he just doesnt defend properly. Sure it''s great to see a good attacking full back and he does show glimpses of this, but imo the team would benefit from have a more defensively solid right back at the expense of the occasional attacking run. When we got prompted to the Premier league it wasnt just becuase of Hucks, it was becuase the defence could just hold firm. Edworthy hardly crossed the halfway line most games, but he hardly ever had a winger running him ragged or getting caught out of position.

Given that Semi basically HAS to play at the moment i think this is quite clever from Lambert.  He`s basically told him "You`ve been nobbled" but hasn`t destroyed his confidence or bruised his ego too much in the process.
