Rowe refuses to play for us as transfer drama hits

Oh dear oh dear. There I was thinking he was above that kind of nonsense.. Very disappointing from someone who I thought was a mature, and decent bloke.

Just what we need as the season starts 🙃

Feels a bit  "...make yourself a bit of a bad boy and they'll accept any offer just to get rid"  doesn't it?

If Marseilles (or anyone) don't come up with our asking price, what does he do then?

Refuse to come in for training?

Not sure the reception he'd now get would be very good anyway.

Unprofessional doesn't even start it....

And what kind of message does it send to the rest of the squad that he's been allowed to just sod off and refuse to play? Sure hope nobody else gets any ideas the second a club bids for them..

Shame he didn't do that for the Leeds 2nd leg as well as he was atrocious.

Unfortunate. He has a choice to embrace the situation and see it through but it appears he’s not mature enough to do so or he’s being fed crap from his agent. Poor show from Rowe

I would fine him, stick him with the u18s and refuse to sell until a price we set is met. Got to make an example of this or it will spread through the squad.

In the new video series the club put out on YT, JHT says something very prophetic in the changing room at one point- words to the effect of:

'Now we will see who is here to help the team, and who wants to shine. But I guarantee if you work hard to help the team we will all shine'

I guess JR has decided which one he is

Controversially I’m going to suggest that we were a better team last season without him in the side due to his injury

On the face of it seems pretty bad but am going to reserve judgment till I hear what JHT says.

Tbh there’s not a huge amount of leeway - being in the side and downing tools is a poor way to behave - to the other players and to supporters who have paid his wages.  I dare say they might try to ‘excuse’ it that his head wasn’t right but that is just the same thing.  Poor.

Rowe.....what an absolute bell end. Gone from being a hero to zero in one sweep. Fine him and get rid. Really poor show from someone we have brought through the system. Cannot see a way back for him from this. If this is agent driven then his agent needs shooting with ****. Ben Knapper it's time to step up and show him who's boss. If we lose today it can be put firmly at Rowes door

You just know that if Gaby had been selected today, he'd have played and given his all. Even Idah who doesn't want to be here either, is professional & mature enough to accept the current situation, has travelled and is on the bench. Yonks ago, Leroy Fer wanted away but still played for us in our first game of that season before he got his move.

I'm sure they'll all embrace him warmly when he comes in for training on Monday. Or perhaps not...

What a terrible career choice. He is now tainted, not just here, but in football circles. Ego got the better of him. Utter disgrace. Timing of it is clearly a statement also. I bet his teammates aren't impressed either.

It was inevitable I think. We are going through the biggest transition since Farke arrived. It’s not a situation where interest in them is the only component. Was always going to be some not interested in being involved in a new project unlikely to fulfil this season. Good, let them make it obvious and move on without, can’t move forward with people who don’t want to.

Well, we were certainly better off without a half-fit Rowe in the run-in, that is certain.

The issue with Rowe is that he’s played about half a season in the last two - Smith clearly wanted him to be a big part of 22/23 and he missed big chunks of last season too.  That’s not a great track record.

Also, look at the difference between Rowe and Idah - Idah is clearly wanting to go to Celtic and is likely to be off, but is behaving in a far more professional way, good on him

No coincidence that Rowe and Idah have the same agents.  I wonder if those who thought Idah accidentally missed the flight to Austria now think differently.

No - that is not fair.  Idah may be a muppet, but nowhere near as unprofessional in this way.

His rumoured bad attitude now shining bright for all to see!

He’s only confirmed my fears after watching him prance around Carrow Road looking like the latest hip hop star during his injury lay off last season.

Prior to his injury he looked decent in fits and spurts but still a long way off the finished article, following his return from injury he was terrible.

Thinks he’s made it as a “baller” before he’s actually made it.

F off out of our club Rowe!

If the travelling Norwich fans have anything about them they'll be giving Johnny Rowe dogs abuse today. Let the world know what a scum bag he is.

All the best.

Big Keith Scott.
