Interesting selections - presumably to give players a rest/bringing other back gently?!  As ever, I shall wait and see what transpired before judging.

Resting is probably the answer. I mean it has been a hectic scedule.. what was it three matches this week?

Do hope this means we see Sargent starting against Rovers next week

Any team selection is as much about combating any threats from them, as it is about posing ones of our own

Beyond a joke. Nunez starting to find form after finally given a run of games.. now dropped because Wagner is desperate to play Gibson and McLean…

Where’s Duffy?

Not sure what he’s done to deserve dropping?

Tough choice between him and Nunez but not surprised he’s gone with McClean against Millwall.

Bl**dy hell, he tinkers with this team so much.

Have Batth & Gibson even played together this season.  Why wouldn't you continue with Mclean in defence if that had been working, and it disrupts a growing partnership between Nunez & Sara.

At least Rowe & Sargent to comer off the bench, which is good news.

Why bring Gibson in?

Nunez is a fantastic footballer… the sort of player I want to watch.

Could be some players are a bit on the fatigued side?

Doesn't exactly seem inspiring but let's see how it goes.

One thing you have to hand to Wagner - he's willing to make unpopular calls.

Seems like overthinking to me - but let's see what happens.

He certainly does. In a way I like someone prepared to mix things up. Yet, we all know, the best teams tend to have a core of the same 11 to 14 players who get to know each others' playing patterns. That's why his subs often fail in my opinion. Apart from Idah.

Yet...(1) he is resting some players in a busy schedule  (2) all will be revealed by about 9.40!

I'm not enamoured with that line up though.

Yet, one glimmer is Josh back. What odds I wonder for him to score as a 70th minute sub?

Busy time, resting, fatigue OK,

But Sara goes on and on. Infrequently substituted, never dropped (even for meaningless cup games,) rarely injured and always puts in 100% performances.

What a player.

But if he's resting players, why is Barnes there? He has looked every minute of his 34 years recently.

But the 34 year old Barnes continues to start every game it seems!
