Booing and fighting amongst ourselves in the stands today

Recommended Posts

Absolutely boring and pathetic showing by the team today.

Anger spilled over into the crowd when players came over. The players saw and pointed to fans fighting each other.
As a club we are in trouble and something really needs to change.

Can’t believe how quickly and badly it’s taken apart since the farke championship days.

 Very sad

We were time-wasting from the 46th minute.

It was an absolutely disgraceful display.

Norwich City once stood for brave attacking football……Wagner and the majority of this squad are so far removed from the expectations of the fans and the spirit of the Club.

Judging by about half of this messageboard, with the enabling that goes on on here, I’d say that there’s a perfect alignment re the latter for many.

Not just Wagner and the players, the owners are far removed from modern football too. Club is rotten from the top down sadly

Considering how much we lament what modern football has become on this forum, with the big teams only caring about making themselves as rich as possible and to hell with anything else, is that a bad thing?

Don't think the drum made it in today, last seen being taken away with a police escort at 245

You wasted a lot of time. Both teams missing key players.  TBH it looked like you stole the result. Last 10 mins you were lucky not no lose.  However, Gibbo did the business for us.

The subs worked better for CCFC.

Norwich are good and I’d be surprised if you aren’t in the top six.

P.S.  Time for the Sky Blues to go into overdrive like they did after the 4-2 loss last season.  ATB. 😀

At least we have plenty of money - oh no, my mistake, we have absolutely nothing and are reliant on random Americans to keep us afloat.

Such a shame….

There definitely seems to be a level of ‘entitlement’ that’s sneaked into some of our following - supporters fighting among ‘ouselves’ is pretty stupid.  It was right in front of my son and he was rather bemused by it.

With lack of quality, lack of depth, and signs of a fragile morale collapsing (again), relegation is genuinely more likely than top six I would say, as unthinkable as it seems.

Tell you what, if we get relegated I’ll pay £100 to charity if you’ll do the same if we get in the top 6.

Branston, I agree we feel entitled. I hope your son wasn't affected by the situation. But we expect more from our team, we've had two fantastic seasons recently at this level. We expect more. Football is emotional.

Will you both pay £100 to charity if we end up in mid-table mediocrity?

Stuff like this is so disappointing, having to plan which way to take my son out of the stand to keep them away from the behaviour that used to go on at teenage discos when the WKD’s got a bit too much.

Said it before, and probably will keep on saying it, we have had a rollacoaster ride and yo-yo time; this is now a period of mid table consolidation. Nothing wrong with that, and I could give many many examples of other teams in similar situations. Just take Birmingham for example, always remember my colleague at work, a Blue, he could never begin to respect us as a club, seeing the Blues as a huge team. In a way I understood his distain for us country boys. The truth is no team is entitled to success and ourselves and Birmingham (for example) just have to live in the real world. See u at Stadium of light guys.

Time for us to play as underdogs. Not Ex Premier league. Mentality needs to change. From board room to fans. We are Championship, we need to play to our strengths. Back to basics.

Fighting with your own fans is a new low ,

This is true. The championship is an absolute slog where everyone can beat everyone. It's full of surprises and does not respect reputations. Not least when we won it in 2019. I don't know where the entitlement comes from really. Who are the clubs with parachute payments this time? Leicester, Leeds, Southampton, Norwich, Watford, WBA? If the season ends in October we are above three of them. Are we more entitled to the top six than them? Or Middlesbrough, Cardiff, Hull, Swansea, Stoke, QPR and others all of which had recent PL opportunities.

I said in another post we had a very good team in 2017 and finished 14th. It's only Emi and Teemu who propelled us higher.

Where do the expectations come from?

All very well but the rhetoric from the club is we are going for promotion, new players are welcome with fanfare, world class training facilities  blah blah blah.

Not to mention we have one of the highest season ticket prices in the country.

Yes there may be some entitlement but fcuk me are the club partially responsible for it.

Of course we are going for promotion. Problem is so are all those other clubs. If the tickets are too expensive don't buy them. Once I can't afford it or would rather spend elsewhere that's what I'd do.

What were they fighting over? It makes no sense.
