  1. He wasn’t Champs quality according to most on this forum last year. Think he’s very capable of stepping up and quite a few clubs would be interested- 47m for Johnson Forest to Spurs, know who I’d rather have. Jonny really needs to prove he can put in a 95 min shift to attract the big bucks, but Clubs will cover.
  2. Oliver Skipp, a very good player, but anyone would think he was world class and almost solely responsible for the success we had, so in my view over rated. Would I have him back, of course, see initial comment.
  3. As I’ve said more times than I care to mention, we are a very successful club, others like York, Exeter, Plymouth, Grimsby, Rochdale, Peterborough, Northampton etc etc could be more successful than us, and many others. Not sure how the Middle East came into this discussion, today was supposed to be my day off from the horror unfolding; but hoping all people are free from the river Jordan to the Mediterranean Sea/ 🇵🇸
  4. I usually hold positive’ish views about other teams if I’ve lived in an area and felt part of the community, and have got to know people. The exception being Gippeswyk where I lived for 3 years. I like going to Home Park when I lived in Stonehouse, Plymouth. I’ve lived near to Orient’s ground for nearly 30 years and go occasionally ( but I’ve never made the famous Supporters club with the best ale).
  5. If you have been living in Britain these last 14 years, with any awareness, you would not be raising this issue. Good turnout today.
  6. I remember him well, part of my early years supporting City, stalwart of the team, and reliable; but for me part of a Norwich tradition of playing relatively unconvincing central defenders in the top kier if I’m honest. Happy to revisit his contribution.
  7. I don’t buy this ‘ we have exceeded all expectations’ line, it’s the type of thing very hurt and defensive fans put out; things ain’t been pretty recently. For my part I think promotion to the prem is a very very mixed blessing, so it’s almost a win win for me.
  8. We have the league table and we had the legal table. Quite fun until you think about it, then anyone with any sense wonders why do we collaborate with this corruption; but we do
  9. Fair do’s to check out oppo sites but to hang around, contributing , that’s rather perverse
  10. The opposite, cannot re quite such a presence. I wasn’t happy to be held up by Rozzers approaching the ground (quite enjoyed out flacking them). I don’t agree with the association of Gippeswyk fans with London, more accurate to note a north Essex link.
  11. First time I’ve ever listened to McKenna, came across very badly after, a snide approach.
  12. I had Rupie Edwards on my headphones to try and drown the abuse on my train. Nevertheless I was tickled by the “10 more years “ (for Delia) chant. Why not? I expected the traditional accusation that I had been shagging my sister. But can anyone enlighten me why were are all “peodo’s”. Is this a particular accusation reserved for Norwich fans or just part of the current cultural war whereby anyone you disagree with has to be demonised?
