alex_ncfc 686 Posted May 2, 2023 I was looking at their league stats - they've only scored 30 goals and are still in the 30s (points wise) in May. Can't remember a Chelsea team ever doing so badly. Something is rotten within the club there. Why they sacked Tuchel I have no idea, they weren't even doing badly. Could actually still go down. Obviously they won't, but the fact they could is interesting.
keelansgrandad 6,680 Posted May 2, 2023 Look at their players though. If it wasn't for Kante, they would be 6-0 down. Sterling is absolute shoite. Thiago and Azpilucueta are past it. Aubameyang is bone idle. And they have a coach they sacked. Must be pining for the recently sacked Jody Morris.

It's a team of big names and a team that on paper looks like it should do well, yet for whatever reason it just has not worked  .. I suppose you could say the same about us this season
nutty nigel 7,902 Posted May 2, 2023 I have no sympathy for them. I remember their fans when they came here last March while the bombs were raining down on Ukraine. Of course that could be the root cause of their problems now...

Sections of the media tried to blame an isolated few Chelsea fans. Those of us that walked passed the Waterfront that night and heard hundreds of Chelsea fans signing about Abramovich know better. Dirty Russian money . End of .

WD40 726 Posted May 2, 2023 Frank continues to fail upwards but surely this is his last big job. He’ll have to drop down to chumpo unless he gives it up for punditry - which I doubt - as with such little managerial success he won’t have a leg to stand on criticising managers.

GodlyOtsemobor 2,830 Posted May 3, 2023 I have to say it is great seeing the few people I know who were born here in Norwich but support Chelsea all having collective meltdowns about them this season, I've taken great pleasure in commenting 😂ðŸ˜ðŸ˜‚ðŸ˜ðŸ˜‚ on each of their whiny book of faces posts. Much the same as the one's who support man united (one now supports man City by the way 😂) having meltdowns when they stopped winning the league.
Capt. Pants 5,014 Posted May 3, 2023 I can laugh at the Chelsea demise but the fact Lampard was shortlisted for the Head Coach role here is a bit worrying! Maybe he was better then? A few were also going into meltdown when it transpired he wasn't interested.
Thumbbass 367 Posted May 3, 2023 Listening to some ex-pros talking on 5Live they suggest that Boehly is getting involved in team talks. What elite manager is going to want to put up with that? Let's hope Attenasio doesn't have the same MO. I love that they are absolutely terrible. Long may it continue.
