Are you feeling confident for tonight's match?

Just thought it would be interesting to get a feel of the mood..

The only thing I’m confident about is your ability to start topics which have a tenuous link to other topics already open, go back to bed 😉

Not really. A bit happier than before Huddersfield, but confidence needs more than one win. The old phrase "one swallow doesn't make a good po-rn flick" springs to mind.

It adds a (w)hole new definition to "sowing your oats".

Excited. Our squad should tear them a new one, but, sloppy defense, look great first 30. Then slow up. Subs at the rite time. A lucky early goal will settle us. 2-1, 2-2.........🫣

Confident that we won't keep a clean sheet, but that we will score.

I just love Friday night football with a few beers before and after. Bring it on!

Other than not taking our chances, which at some point will click and we will start scoring freely, there is no reason not to be confident after Tuesday's performance. We are a good team believe it or not.

I'll wait for someone to comment on how XG proves this 😉

I still think we're a pretty fragile side. Providing we score the first goal we should be fine, bit its gonna take a while to build up confidence again. Millwall will be a test for this squad in its current condition. Im going 2-1 to us.

Millwall are draw specialists as they never appear to give up hope of getting a result. Their comeback at Swansea last Saturday being a good example. Over the years our matches with them have been entertaining and the likelihood of us keeping a clean sheet is low. We could well struggle to score against their robust defence too.

Steady,  I thought I was the only one who commented on his persistent thread starting.

We can't all be bullying him.....

Eventually Cambridge will be able to weave an Axminster carpet with all these threads

Yes I am, although in recent times Millwall are no pushovers and we doubtless have a sh*t goal concession in us so I suspect it will be a tough/tight game.

Season looking a lot like 2018/9, same results.  Need toT replicate scoring 4 and conceding 3, couldn't trust this lot score enough however conceding plenty poor enough to concede more than score.

I'm not amazingly confident we'll win, no. Our form has been terrible and even Tuesday when we were clearly the better side for the majority of the game we still couldn't put it to bed despite the sudden plethora of chances we created and then conceded a silly (but well taken) goal to make things hard for ourselves.

I'd like us to sweep them away but don't think that will happen under Smith, and Millwall are always the kind of team that will battle hard.

Luckily  I still have a barnet. Nothing like my shoulder length of the 60s but no comb over yet.

They're above us right now in the table, which according to some is the only way of judging the quality of a team 😉

So therefore, it'll be a huge scalp if we beat them 😄
