Liverpool fans booing the national anthem

The big shock was Wigan I suppose. That was akin to Wimbledon beating Liverpool in the late 80s.

Yep - Coventry '87 and Wimbledon '88 - they're the kind of games I'm talking about!

Mansfield v Northampton will be more entertaining than this, can’t beat the play offs  when you’re neutral

I should really look at the years before the Prem to compare (sure I’ve done this recently but can’t find it) but this is the 30th final since football was invented. In that period, of the 60 finalist teams, the big six have been represented 40 times and they’ll have scooped the cup 26/30.

Although it’s a big five really as Spurs haven’t made the final since 1991.

They think it'd their 'lucky' strip in the FA cup so they've elected to wear yellow.

I thought i saw somewhere that Tuchel is superstitious and he won the German Cup at Dortmund who play in yellow so that is why Chelsea are playing in it today.

Struggling to think when and where Chelsea came to regard it as their lucky FA Cup strip to be honest.

He'll have to get a new one.

Went to both thanks to Sir Arthur South and sat next to Jack Charlton for the latter.

I hate it when Liverpool win anything.

They were the dominant team when I was growing up, when local kids either supported Norwich or Liverpool.

So it pains me to see them winning trophies again.

Aye and the fan base are expectant little c*nts. Now they are all stupidly smug.

5 finals...5 losses

Now six losses. That's some achievement.

4 with Chelsea, 1 with England and 1 with Derby.

Never felt the need to sing or celebrate the national anthem. Nor do I dislike Liverpool FC. In fact out of the current top 4 surely they’re the easiest to get behind?

Not sure calling their fans “scum” is entirely warranted either. But yknow, the corner of the world called Norfolk anything  is possible when you don’t leave county lines.

I think the idea that they are the easiest to get behind and the media narrative of “everyone loves Liverpool” is exactly the reason people dislike them and want anyone else but them to win.

Compared to some recent finals it was pretty good i thought but nowhere near the classic the BBC were trying  to paint it as.

The Play off semi sheff utd v Nottm F was far better in comparison.

People from Liverpool know all about county lines, being filthy drug dealers and thieves.

Their fans are the scummiest out there. No redeeming features at all

Are they really saying it was a classic? 2 shots on target each. Even we've had more than that in a game or two! Maybe

Liverpool fans booing the national anthem

Socialist republic of Liverpool, together with a significant amount of historic Irish nationalism.  Those of a far-left persuasion frequently dislike the UK and always side with its opponents, so the fact that they traditionally boo the National Anthem and, in this case, a member of the Royal Family, is not surprising.  They are, of course, free to do so, just as I am free to consider them to be the lowest of the low in terms of football supporters.

Oh stop whining. It's a ****e anthem, boring as hell, and William is a ****, the Royal Family is defunkt and the UK is as good as over. I've never liked Liverpool FC and hate Chelsea. The city of Liverpool is great and the people are very nice. The less said about Chelsea fans the better. The FA Cup has been pretty much destroyed as a spectacle by the FA and the other arseholes ruining/running English football.

Anyway, top of the morning to you and have a good Sunday.👍😀

Easiest to get behind?

1. Hysel - the behaviour of their fans allowing Thatcher an excuse to ban ALL our clubs from Europe, denying us, innocent fans, from following our club at the height of our powers?

2. That TS defending Suarez from the offensive racism?

3. That tool that ran on to our pitch and was applauded by their fans?

4. The constant "best fans in the world" / " the best atmosphere in the world" bullsxit?

5. The attacking of the Man City bus before the European clash?

6. Their owners signing up to the big six project? Peoples club my arxe...

I could go on but I dislike the club (despite having many Liverpool supporting friends) and would love to see them crash and burn.

Hideous club.
