Parma Ham's gone mouldy

Would you want Sir Jim Ratcliffe as owner of Norwich City?

Jim Ratcliffe is a tax avoiding, union-busting, Brexit-cheering serial polluter who supports Man Utd. He takes advantage of any available legal loopholes to increase his already enormous wealth still further at expense of those who work for him. Yes, he’s not a leader of a homophobic, murdering regime from the Middle Ages but just having a big bank balance doesn’t qualify him to own our club. Be careful what you wish for.

So the Socialists are the only fit people to run Norwich, right?

How much would you estimate this would cost?

Depends how long you are looking to sustain it for.

Big Jim Ratcliffe as owner....With Mr James Dyson (Cromer born) and Tim Mr Spoons Martin (Norwich born) as board members and who'll bring in some serious influential business people.....Close Yellows and Delia's and turn them into a hooge Spoons....Cheap an' cheerful an' prices that are affordable....and call the big stadium Spoons "The Conservative Canary"....

What's not to like?.....The Stowmarket Two can retire an' sit behind in the nice, comfy an' toastie glass of the City Stand.....

The rest of the current Directionless board will be shown the door....Although they can join the ST waiting list and put their hands in their purses and wallets and purchase their own season tickets (but only for in the snake pit). I'm sure they'd be welcomed with open arms..... Neppers Tom can either return to his highly successful photo business or become a snivel serpent again.....

Here's hoping!......Cor it'd be so much fun!.....Imagine it on here.....

On 🔥 Mello . Love it.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🌟

I guess it’s an interesting philosophical question - what would be too much for people to swallow (not meant to be a BK8 reference, although it’s a good example). A buyer with a fortune made through gambling (Denise Coates at Stoke for example)? P o r n? Weapons?  Putin?

I think someone who has made their fortune through gambling, p o r n, weapons and Putin would challenge the more ethical part of my thinking but sod it, ok, just to see what the end of season party is like!

Yours pedantically.

That's all very well Nuff, but what about all the Moot Swaaaans? 🦢🤔🤣

God your heartless 💔😢 where are they going to do all the Summit Podcasts then. Its interesting they are being done at Carrow Road. Maybe after hours though. I also note one of the young ladies ( a manager at Norwich City) is also working for the Webbers foundation. Again probably voluntary after normal working hours at Carrow road.

Tail wagging the 🐕🙃

So it looks like it was a successful season then.

Badger - I think you have either completely missed my point , or you have had a very good lunch.
I am saying that not all investors need a return, but there are those saying that all investors want a quick return. Which I assume it what you are saying too.

Ok who said that?

Slightly class-obsessed, politically-intolerant, misogynistic and generally non-inclusive attitude, don’t you think?

That's the most perfect summation of Tories I've heard, bravo.

Wasn't it Ed's mate at Liverpool who suggested we take the route of appointing a DOF and suggested Webber who had spent some time at Liverpool so we approached Huddersfield where he was at the time ?

Oh well who cares now....WEBBER OUT !

Damien Comolli, once of Liverpool, is on the record as telling Balls (although I think Balls had already been keen on the idea) that a sporting director was definitely the way to go. Since I believe Comolli had crossed paths with Webber at Liverpool it is possible - arguably even likely - that Comolli recommended Webber to Balls, but that was not stated in the relevant interview.

Indeed the interview implies that it was Mrs Webber who told her husband to come and speak to us even though at the time he was employed by Huddersfield.

So has “Webber out” now become “we wish Webber was never in”? Because whatever you think of where we are now, I struggle to believe people don’t think he’s achieved a great deal for this club over his time here.

In the interview with Comolli on the subject of Webber I am talking about (April 12, 2017) there is no mention of Zoe Ward or implication about any involvement she may have had, but there may be another interview in which she is mentioned.

Yes. I would also have accepted a marriage proposal from Princess Anne, but that was never going to be offered either.

Yes but that backs up the point I was making. Mr Tilly said the implication was that it was Webber’s wife who put into his mind the idea of moving to NCFC. On the contrary, what that interview has Webber saying is that after NCFC had decided to go with the idea of a sporting director and had them approached him with that in mind, only then did his wife back the idea.

Delia tries to take the credit for it on Webbers latest podcast. Claims going down the Sporting Director route was her idea despite others telling her it wouldn’t work. Hmmm.

No.   Makes his money polluting the planet, appears relentless in that pursuit too, so no.

Our club is run very well comparatively  and based on wealth of owners alone, it’s incredible that we even get to play in the EPL.   They have got plenty right for that to have happened, just been a recruitment shambles.    Rather we had a complete clear out of that department than the owners.     Until that happens we shouldn’t be signing anymore players.

Referencing Delia Smith and Michael Wynn-Jones’ influence on his switch, the Norwich Sporting Director admitted: “When the opportunity came up here, my wife said you need to speak to these people, as in the owners, because she thought I would just like it.

This clearly shows ZW had an influence.
