Fulham have entered the race for Manchester United and Arsenal transfer target Max Aarons.

With Norwich’s relegation imminent, clubs will be circling around their more valuable players, looking to offer them Premier League football for next season.

I think a bidding war is the only way we're likely to get close to what we might have managed if we sold him last summer.

Agree. Lost a bit of value for sure.

Fulham 😂😂😂

If he does leave (which he will to be fair..) he's going to want to go to a club that has a chance of staying up. Does he really want a third relegation?

Nightmare scenario. Yes it would pretty depressing 😕  if it happened  again. F*ck this yo yo says Max.

Yes, but at least Max could live in Chelsea. Cantwell would be green with envy, especially when he gets sent out on loan to Rochdale.

Great move for the lad, Your going to see a far better show from them next season than we could ever hope for under this limp regime.

If Fulham is the only offer he gets and they meet our valuation he will go there. Can't seeing him turning down a Premier League wage for a relegation pay cut. Many on here seem to think Byram is better anyway.

You don't need to be Mystic Meg to predict that Fulham will make a better job of staying up than we have this year.

Max deserves everything he gets. A top bloke who has worked so hard. Through the Barca interest  he just got on with playing .
Good luck to him. Farkeball suited him perfectly .

I think he's a great player but I can't see him getting a top 6 club. They can afford players of similar ability who are 4 inches taller.

Hope I'm wrong, he has been really good for us in every way. A great example for young players

If he goes to any of them I wish him well but Fulham would be a little disappointing. If it's Arsenal or Man Utd you won't find many other players leave a club with so many fans genuinely wishing him well and there not being even half a shadow or any ill feeling whatsoever left behind. A great player, great lad, model pro and I'm proud he came through our youth set-up.

If he got a top ten club it would be as a squad member I think. But any other team and he would likely start. And lets not denigrate Fulham or anyone else. Whether or not its just for one season doesn't matter. We have no room to moan.

I don’t think Byram is better, he’s more defensively solid but less offered going forward. Maybe a slightly less capable player but more of what we need, especially in the prem.

However he’s a ready made replacement for one of, if not our only, really valuable assets, which makes letting Max go this summer if offers come in a bit of a no brainer to me.

There's quite a few sides looking for a new right back if you believe the rumours of the sides Spence has been linked to, spurs, man u, bayern, Palace etc.

To be honest I'm not bothered about him going anymore, out of his depth mainly due to his physicality in the Premier. Good Championship player, nothing more. If we can still get 8 figures for him then we should.

Really??  He has played through injuries for us, has been a fairly regular U21 international and your not bothered?

I hope he gets a moves which suits him and I expect a lot more than 1M, if it is not enough cash he might as well stay.

It wasn't a dig at the lads personality or professionalism which can't be questioned, but if we can get north of £20 million still then we should, he's not Premier quality, that's all 🤷‍♂️

I realise my fat fingers clicked 7 instead of 8 😂, he's obviously worth more than a million

I didn’t know you knew him personally, when did he tell you he wouldn’t be interested?

I don't know him personally, but I certainly know people that do. As I said, a move like Fulham wouldn't interest him.

I'm not sure aarons offers much going forward personally.

He definitely gets forward more and gets in good positions but rarely does anything once he gets there.

I do think staying with us has held him back and he's stagnated.

Possibly so but look what's happened to him!!

Out of his depth at the time of his transfer having gone into a team expecting a PL ready player and now a victim of their sudden cash influx. He'll move on hopefully and rebuild his career, a very talented guy but sadly jumped too quickly for the wrong move. Needed to go to a club higher up the ladder really. Aarons won't have the same issues I feel, he's too good and deserves a top club

He looks short but at 5ft 10 is the same height as Todd Cantwell and taller than Brandon Williams, not sure too many full backs are 6ft 2.
