Do they ever listen and act?

Recommended Posts

I thought a certain supporter had taken the Club to the Football Ombudsman regarding a similar incident 5 years ago. Should we be renamed the Pigeons or the Snails?

You should be renamed Boring Whiner or Miserablist Tw*t.

How much did it hurt you, us being named fairest Championship club?

Jeez, what a non story.  It amounts to “we sometimes get birds in the stands”.

Tomorrow there will be a follow-up article with people complaining they get birds in their gardens, wanting the council to do something about it….

I’ve seen them release the hawk.

Perhaps the answer can be found on the Haymarket where the boy Thomas looks remarkably droppings free…

I'd actually sympathize over this. It may be funny to some, but if you go to a match and are constantly being sh*t on from above, then it is far from funny. There anti-pigeon measures that can be taken quite easily, that doesn't involve hawks, shotguns or anything so drastic. Nets over where they congregate, sharp pointed barbs on horizontal bars that they might perch on. It's not rocket science, just needs someone to sort it out.

Yes, to be fair it’s not like this isn’t preventable.

Turnin' the joint upside down, Stool Pigeon, ha tja tja tja
He's an old ex-con that's been away

Yes, very funny, someone else has already made that clear thanks.

So I can't justify the time and expense of getting to CR these days, heck, since Farke left, I've not been that inclined to bust a gut to watch online, such has been the effect of the last two years.....but I still have an interest and am genuinely optimistic about the new regime, with Annastasio, Knapper, the Danes - and I'm encouraged from the comments on here.

When it comes to the club looking after fans, I sometimes feel businesses only act on complaints when enough noise is made, so for me, I think that even if one person is having their match experience ruined, then that should be sorted - and more noise made about it until they do act.

It has a benefit for the club, because if everyone sees they are looking after a small problem, then that gives the sense to the rest of the fans that they might look after the bigger problems too.  Leave it and not act - and they just look like another uncaring business, just after what they can get and hard luck if you're getting sh@t on...........

Great post.

What we are off the pitch we are on the pitch too. It shows.

Compared to some of the 5h1t we’ve seen on the pitch in the past few seasons, some supporters seriously need to refocus their priorities to where it really, rather than stick waving at every possible opportunity.

The difference being that they have thrown plenty of money at 5hit on the pitch and fan's representatives should ensure they spend sufficiently on 5hit off the pitch.

@essex canary please read Neitzsche on resentment . Resentment undermines any claims to authority or dignity because it is ESSENTIALLY PATHETIC.

Not sure quoting someone who went mad is the best policy,😍 but he also said - as a warning - that if you stare into the abyss long enough eventually the abyss will start staring back at you.

I’ve sat in the upper Barclay for many years and never even seen a pigeon let alone been dumped on by one.

Could try scaring them and let word of mouth do the rest, as in:

"A man who performed a sex act while keeping a young seagull trapped between his legs has been jailed."

After that the seagulls were a bit scarce in those parts I'm told.
