Hope no one hassled him...

Sorry I know it's bad. Someone was gonna say it though!

"What's that dusty, rusty big old machine over there?"

"Oh that's Soccerbot.. We don't talk about that"

I thought soccerbot was the big thing with the big screens and the net?

It is, but it's fashionable to rip the p*ss out of it without having any real understanding of what it does.

Investing in a piece of cutting-edge technology in an effort to try to discover some marginal gains is obviously a really sh*t idea in the eyes of a lot of our fans.

'Good to finally see you'

Seems like the deal was done a while back. Not sure how closely we looked at alternatives, but matters not now.

Hoff doesn't look entirely comfortable with all this media team nonsense and I don't blame him. Riddersholm seems less 'overwhelmed'.

Is that really the case though?, all I am seeing is a bit of totally harmless banter.........

Hoff seems like a top guy … very excited to see this new chapter

Will this mean Aboh will stay and the lad from pompey might have a better chance of being in the team ?

He looked surprisingly natural and sincere in the ‘big face’ message he delivered to me when I woke up this morning

It was Steen Nedergaard, who was Chief Scout for FC Nordsjælland until moving to a different club last year.

Yeah of course, it was only harmless banter by Cambridge. It just irks me how many people were dismissive of it without any knowledge of its impact. I'm on the fence, as obviously I have no more idea than anyone else whether it has contributed positively. I applaud the decision to give it a try, though!

It wasn't brought in for the first team.  It is 95% used by the academy players and is seen as a huge help in developing awareness.  Occasional use by the first teamers, but that wasn't it's intentio.

I have no issue with NCFC giving SocerBot a go, but I do like to make the odd joke about it. To be honest amongst the people I sit with at Carrow Rd it has never got a mention.............

That is not the impression I got from what Knapper was saying, he said something along the lines of "we use it for the academy as well, including the little ones"............

He has really steely eyes. I suspect behind that warm smile he may be a real disciplinarian.

I hope so.

In the welcome video he says something along the lines of 'the sessions will be intense - I'm sure the players will get on board with it real fast'. That was in relation to training from Day 1.

A few of them might have a bit of a shock coming!

Did they do the manly thing of not reading the instructions before putting it together? 🤣

Reading up on it I think you’re wrong.

Apparently, Paul McVeigh's mum has to bring a kinder egg to get him to leave afterwards.

If it all goes t*ts up he’ll be a shoo-in for one of those blonde haired henchmen in the villains lair in the next Bond film.

In real life I’m sure he always helps old ladies to cross the road. 😀

Where I sit amongst the elderly in the South Stand we think it’s an affliction you get if you don’t stand up occasionally.

I really like the vibe of him and the number 2 so far. I love the whole project of developing youth with attacking football. It fits our club.

I hope Hoffy realises that possession football will mean instant relegation from the EPL, if he ever gets that far.

That, and no £300 million being stumped up by Delia, Wynnie and Mr Norfolk in year one, ensures his doom like all those before him.

New era? More like rewind and repeat.
