John Percy names Johannes Hoff Thorup as the new boss

Best get set about looking into him then.

From a Danish support on Reddit, he sounds like he favours quick attacking football but could be accused of defensive naivety.

Viva la revolución

Edit-

Found this attacking analysis that is quite interesting (if you like that sort of thing). Bad news for those who don't like 'pissing around at the back'

Bookies will be happy - as usual!

Suspect Southampton beating Leeds will have been a massive cause for celebration among bookies.

If talk Norwich city are reporting it then it must be true 😀

From the John Percy link, you would’ve thought the links the lads have with the clubs they would’ve been involved in the interview process

Interesting one, know absolutely nothing about him of course.

Hopefully there is a decent Danish left back he knows about that he can bring over with him.

If this is indeed true then let's get behind him with the passion us fans show. Thos is not going to be a quick fix. Let's give him time and be patient. It may take a couple of seasons but so what. The EFL may well be EPL2 by then

Well, it's a brave decision on Knapper's part, if true. No idea if it's a good one. All we can do is wait and see.

Totally agree. I thought of the three shortlisted, this guy represented the biggest risk. It'll be fascinating to hear what Knapper sees in him.

Good news is, although I know nothing about him, he appears to have been our first choice which is always positive.

I very much doubt he’ll get to throw a ton of wages at an aging group of ‘mr-right-now’ players with no resale value from his mate the Sporting Director as he drifts out the door, so quite possibly not.

shorttermismout for sure. Success might well be harder to achieve also.

Expectations gone for a Burton as ambition becomes transition. I can live with that. Not sure I’ll be part of a majority.

To answer the question I posed on another thread this morning:

Will Will Still still be in contention when it comes down to the wire?

Apparently not

Nice. I said in another thread that all I want is a manager that's brave enough to let a promising youngster have a stage and a start. I'll happily have some of that.

Happy enough with this - good luck Johannes and welcome to NCFC.
I heard earlier that he has seen us play at FCR at least once, having been ‘incognito’ in the stands (tbh no one would have known him, but even so)

Big mistake letting McCallum go

we have an ageing squad who really aren’t that good

He needs to move Barnes, Hanley, Duffy,  Fassnacht ,Fisher, Long for starters

Happy with this appointment. Forward thinking and there seems to have been good research put into this.

Once in the hot seat, it will be very interesting too see how things develop with him and Knapper.
