Add our supporters who attended the game to the ‘winners’ list. Crazy time to start their journey this morning and still a few hours from getting home. The 3 points must have been all the sweeter for them.

Idah did hit the post but the offside flag had already been raised.

Also the first game I’d taken my youngest son to…agreed, as the goals flew in, it was hard to explain to him not to expect this every match!

Thank goodness those two games are over and we can look forward to some proper competition. I’m trying to be glass half full. Two scenarios. Firstly, if we can survive, it’ll be a hell of a ride between now and the end of the season and oh so joyous. Or, get relegated and DS gets to build his own squad in his first transfer window. The man knows the league and knows how to get out of it. He will demand 100 percent from the players who remain. I’m confident we will competitive in that league…and we might actually enjoy our football again!

There’s should be about 15 minutes added on for all this time wasting and the ridiculous amount of time it took to decide on that penalty. There’ll probably be four though.

Always dignified. Always gracious. A man who clearly had a lot of affection for the club, and indeed, the city. Nothing but respect for what he’s achieved here. Some very special memories for us to cherish. I hope he will return one day so we can show our appreciation.
