Jokes about him being fined for not having a license and him learning how to be a manager on football manager aside it seems according to the grape vine that a certain will still has been around carrow road and the training centre speaking to Knapper, players and staff. Of course Knapper knows him well it seems and they are friends, so i suppose it should not be too much of a surprise.

But the question is; Would you be happy if he ends up being our man?

Jobs for mates? What could possibly go wrong there?!….but tbh I don’t really care - whoever gets the gig gets a proper chance to show what he can do.

Apart from the crazy press coverage, I know very little about him.  Seems like a maverick appointment if it was to happen.

It's always hard to know with any manager but this one feels like a fairy tale type of thing.....I mean we've all played footy manager but none of us have been bold enough to turn that into a management career.

Although I suppose being a friend of the SD is an upgrade from someone that Delia got on with well but that sort of thing also worries me.

Well he knows how to switch from having a fluent french accent to cockney so that's impressive I guess..

He'll be backed until he gives me a reason not to.

It's different for sure, but sometimes different is good.

A redhead like me. His temper, I'm sure, can turn on a sixpence! There'll be a few casualties along the way.

Impressive but not sure that makes him a good manager!

Does he come with his own Netflix Documentry film crew?

would be a good fit for Soccerbot, another computer game

its a no from me. We should not gamble on a gamer.

I like the sound of Jansen and Thorup has been more successful than Still. But I do miss the 4-2-3-1 formation which transfermarket quote he prefers

This is about the most laziest stereotyped **** you could possibly make up.

Read up about the guy, come back and apologise for being a ****.

How does it seem they are friends? An odd take-away from the reports that they have had a working relationship after Knapper placed Balogun at Reims under Still.

"mutually agreed to leave Ligue 1 Reims earlier this month, after their season tailed off with just two wins in 14"

Its a no from me. I've had enough of failures joining us and continuing to fail

Big yes from me.

Still has shown in his short career so far he has the potential to go and be an elite level coach. He connects well with his players and builds a good bond. Isn’t afraid to give responsibility to youth players and has shown he is supremely adaptable.

For me, he is head and shoulders above the other names mentioned so far.

If you are going to be appointing people on the basis of who your mates are then this is a recipe for disaster. This smacks of Delia appointing Gunn and Adams.

I strongly suspect that he speaks French in a Belgian accent, having been born and raised in the predominantly French-speaking part of Belgium.

He can also speak Dutch.

Will Still and Knapper aren’t ’friends’. Knapper loan a player to Still. Will Still then developed that player into a £40m one and made Arsenal a huge profit. They will have worked together on the loan deal and kept in contact to check on the player (who lived with Will Still while on loan), but that is pretty much the extent of their relationship.

Did I read somewhere that Wagner could speak multiple languages? Obviously beyond English and German.

I can see The Evening News sports headline tonight as…

“Will Still move?”

I’ll get a taxi..

Interesting one this, I quite like like the cut of his jib.  Flavours of Ken Brown and Harry Rednapp in there but mixed with a modern approach.  Certainly fits how i'd like to see us play whereby it falls on the receiving players to create movement off the ball, plus we've already got a set of interchangeable players such as Sara, Nunez, McLean etc.

Also he fits the all round agenda of us seeking better use of statistical data too.  Clearly a guy who 'gets it'.

I'd put him top of the list purely on the basis that we need a shake up of mentality here and he's a very straight talker.  Has it's risks though, but which options don't?

In my eyes questionable. Yes, he's young and hungry but hasnt had a particularly strong track record. Would be a gamble, like any manager is, but would be verging on the more risky side of things for me.

Don't know much about him aside from the memes. However, people that know more about this stuff than me have mainly positives to say about him.

Bit prickly? Well, I think we could do with a bit of that. Smith & Wagner probably didn't have enough of this and we are in the age of shake-ups.
