We're getting destroyed down the left. Such negative football so far (though great corner)

That was always coming. Just giving them possession in the middle of the field. We have not been good enough to sit back and defend a lead, over the last few years. We need to get back on the front foot and put them under pressure.

Not sure what he was meant to do with 2-3 players to mark.  No protection at all from Sainz

Not particularly blaming him for the goal but he’s not getting anywhere near his man

Agreed. He has to do the dirty work as well as the goals and glory stuff. Needs a rocket.

Dewsbury Hall looks a level above - really causing problems. as ever we look decent when going forward in possession - but there hasn’t been enough of it. Look fragile and panicky at the back since the equaliser- could do with half time.

We keep getting caught in possession or pass it straight to them - never mind the defence being unable to get anywhere near their wingers.

Letting their 18 have far too much space out wide right, we're too narrow

Anyone else think we need to slow the game down, perhaps using some of the dark arts demonstrated by Plymouth on Friday?

Impossible for us to try and slow it down anymore. And the tactic isn't working unless the strategy is to try and hold on for a draw and only use set pieces to attack. Why are we not using Sainz, Sara and Sargent?? 2 of the most in form midfielders and the top scorer of 2024. Leicester are in their worse form of the season and we try and contain them??? Baffling.

Yeah the game is being played totally in our half cant remember the last time their keeper touched the ball and its just a question when Lester score again - we now got a corner hoorah

Our midfield is non existent. Incapable of keeping the ball.

And McCallum is dreadful.

All the best.

Big Keith Scott.

I take your point but I feel that we need to stop Leicester from building up a head of steam and try to gain some possession. Then we can use Sainz, Sara and Sargent.

They're clearly a very good team, even if recent results may not suggest that. You can see they press well and know exactly what to do in possession too. However we are playing into their hands completely, once we scored we went straight into preservation mode. I don't think anyone truly believes we're good enough to defend a lead for 70 minutes, let alone against one of the leagues' top sides.

Hopefully we get through to HT and then we can regroup and figure out how to cause them problems.

Let’s see how clever Wagner is now.

He’s not changed anything and just like Middlesbrough, this games just awaiting their next goal.   He’s got to get McCallum wider and tighter.   Sainz deeper and more effort generally.    Far too laboured.

McCallum is far too slow.

Fair enough - but to be fair to him, which one is he meant to get close to…?!

We could all hear you sharpen your pen when the equaliser went in.

Perhaps we've simply had a plan to contain them and hit them on the break...just saying. A game lasts 90 minutes so let's see where we are then.

Sam M is having an absolute stinker. Midfield have to fight. I think we need a tactical shift at half time as we won’t survive 45 more minutes of this…

The tension is getting to me.Need a rest.
Why do teams allow wingers, especially in Norwich' case,so much room to receive the ball.
They are obviously aware of our vulnerability down our left side and boy are they exploiting it
Not a good watch today

I don’t think it’s even a case of speed, it’s more his work rate that I think is in question - he rarely looks at 100%.

Going to be a long 2nd half.

Need to up the effort and actually put some tackles in. Too easy for Leicester and luckily they are a bit toothless up front.

It’s a question for the players now. Do you want it?

Not massively impressed. At some point we’re going to have to start playing our game here if we’re to have any chance of taking something away from it. Every player at the moment is making the easy pass and we’re getting pushed further back. It’s only a matter of time if the game continues in this pattern.

That ultra-negative compact, deep, narrow 4-4-2 is giving Leicester far too much time and space to get their confidence back. The crowd were just about ready to really turn, because Leicester were really crap up until that bus parking started. If you don't trust the defence, piling more bodies in there often doesn't help and just takes away any semblance of attacking intent and an out ball.
