Given that we are so close to making an official appointment then surely if that person was employed we’d had to have asked permission to talk to them, making the likelihood of someone letting the cat out of the bag almost certain. There's a lot of similarities between him and Lampard - who we pursued fairly extensively last time. Makes sense he could be one of the 2?
