Wonder if the 'kit release on the 6th, away kit is red/burgady and third kit will be controversial' rumours that were going around on social media are true then? Coneys Knee 1,062 Posted June 4, 2022 How is it that amateur “concept kit designers” always seem to produce kits that are universally loved but when it comes to the real thing they are (mostly) always so underwhelming? I might be proven to be going against what I’ve just said here, but the kit in this thread lies somewhere between ok and nice for me. Indy 3,499 Posted June 4, 2022 We get this every year, someone does a superb concept kit, it’s leaked, everyone says wow great looking kit, then when they release the actual kit, it’s normally pretty ordinary in comparison to some concept kits! Firstly, because as fans we have this probably-lifelong attention to the minutiae of the team, for example the delicate yellow/green balance; and secondly, because we don't have to pay attention to anything like manufacturing costs or restrictions (whether or not it's cheap/ easy enough to produce en-masse etc) I like the above one, I have a sneaking suspicion on stripes this year though.
