They were waiting for a billionaire to turn up desperate to invest his money in a plane that would perform all sorts of amazing stunts. Inexplicably, no such billionaire actually existed, so they couldn't afford the amazing plane that would outperform all rival planes. Oh well! perhaps that sorry tale might at least serve as a useful metaphor for some other aspect of the NCFC predicament.

Unfortunately not, when I went past there was less people there than after the West Ham game. There was a loud chant of "We want Delia Out" and "We want Webber Out" towards the end of the game but that fizzled out. Quite a few empty seats again today. I have said it before the "protest" just isn't well organised enough and now of course the season is over.........
