I feel like they’ve been excellent all season for at least the opening phases of the game, when it still feels possible we could get something out of it. Sadly when games get away from us in terms of score line, or we are simply not getting close to our opposition (I.e. the last 30 mins versus Leeds which was diabolical), then the fans naturally die down. It wasn’t a different support today. It was the same one that’s been there all season, the players just finally gave them something to truly cheer and get behind.
