It will be done just before the AGM to try and take any heat off them if Farke is still here and steer the debate away from the ownership/how sh*t we are etc etc. Thats how the club roll.

I think even if he was open to staying at the start of the season, I don’t think that will be the case now. Can’t be a fun place for him right now so I doubt he’d want to stay, which personally I think is a shame. Even with our difficulties on the pitch now, there are rumours about that his contemporaries at Liverpool are joining Real Madrid at the end of the season and Webber has been earmarked for the job there. Whilst that will be scoffed at by some, he has still undeniably done some great work here especially sorting our financial situation and also when we think back just a few years ago to when Colney was basically a bunch of portacabins. What he’s done in those respects deserves massive credit. Anyway, not that Liverpool need an overhaul in that department as they’ve just done exactly that,  having recently moved from Melwood, but I bet he’s still very highly regarded around the Premier League and I’m sure back at his former employers. So yeah, I will be staggered if he announces he’s staying irrespective of who or who doesn’t want him - I can actually see him taking some time out for a little while. I also highly doubt Neil Adams was giving his current role just to follow Webber around for as long as the next couple of years or maybe more, it all looks to me increasingly likely that he’s off by the end of the season. To me it feels very much like be careful what you wish for, but we’ll see.

My understanding is this extension is done and dusted all bar the announcement.

Interesting, Tilly, and I know you’d have an educated idea on this. It surprises me though, I must say. We certainly can’t say he’s scared of a challenge though! And I admire that.

How interesting, I had heard (admittedly from a not very reliable source) that Webber was off to wear out somebody else’s carpet. Must have been part of the negotiations strategy.

The Socialists at this very moment are doing a grubby deal with Southampton to let Norwich win on the 20th so as to take the heat out of the AGM on the 25th. This has been done before. Everton two years' ago.

Absolutely, totally predictable. The usual apologists will be out in force as well blowing smoke up Delia and MWJ’s backside and shutting down any kind of meaningful debate.

Perhaps the plan is to write off the season after 12 games on the grounds that it gives Stu maximum planning time for another Championship assault?

Perhaps our counter could be an unpaid leave break until the end of the season then pay him per telephone call received next season?

I have heard he will stay on as long as Farke does too.  It's a team effort - in it together.

Both be gone at the weekend then and good riddance to very bad rubbish . Time for an English manager.

Webber has pretty much already indicated that he will sign a rolling contract during the international break. And Farke is going nowhere.

Really! Who was responsible for building and updating of the training ground. Those who invested in the bonds to pay for it, and whose idea was it, Tom’s!

Nope all part of the Webber master plan mate

he’s big enough and ugly enough (sure) to take responsibility for our poor form, he sure as hell deserves absolute credit for his work at Colney

Yes he has done a good job of improving the training facilities on the back of selling a load of players he had no involvement with. Thank god McNally planned for the future with signing exciting young players from other teams and other youth set ups or Webber would have gone in the same box as Jez Moxey. Increasingly looking like a case of right place, right time for SW rather than the genius he thinks he is.

When the club announces Webber's extension, will the press remind them that Webber said he was 'only passing through' and wanted to work in Europe?

Webber staying will be the biggest failure of his career. Everyone has their limit and he's found his.

FAO Yobocop:

Thousands have already registered their interest in the Canaries Bond, and it opens for public investment on March 28. To give fans and those looking to invest an idea of how the money will be used, we’ve produced an interactive fly-through video of what the redevelopment of Colney will look like, and how it will help build our future. Take a look!

Norwich City’s vision is to become an established Premier League club, driven by its proud, passionate football community.

At the heart of this vision is a focus on producing more home-grown players. To do this, the Club must provide state-of-the-art academy facilities to recruit and develop top players at every level of the game.

The money raised by the Canaries Bond will be ring-fenced for investment in Colney and the building of state-of-the-art facilities, maintaining the Academy’s Category 1 status and enabling the Club to attract the best young players from the region and beyond.

The Canaries Bond is effectively a loan to the Club from its supporters and community. Seeking to raise £3.5m (with a maximum threshold of £5m), the Canaries Bond will return 8% interest per annum, comprised of 5% cash plus 3% Club Credit. Club Credit may be redeemed against regular individual matchday tickets, food & drink at Carrow Road kiosks, hospitality, Club events and at the Club Shop.

29 Apr 2019 — I hope that all who have benefitted from this investment will raise a glass to Tom Smith who was the director who came up with the idea.

Don’t recall David McNally remotely being so hands on as Stuart Webber in the youth recruitment and development department, if at all, but it’s funny as since Webber has been here he has ‘planned for the future with signing exciting young players from other teams and other youth set ups’. I think it would be wise not to write off his own youth signings just yet…

It's all well and good but there will come a time when enough is enough from Webber's perspective and the club's.

In the meantime I think he has to deal with Farke. My gut feeling is he will sack Farke then walk away in the summer.

I'm not writing anyone off. Time will tell with his own signings.
