All the Germans 1,075 Posted March 20, 2021 I like the options from the bench. Want to get crosses in to their box? Hugill, Placheta, Hernandez. Want to close a game out? Zimmerman, Sorensen, Tettey. Want to hit them on the break? Placheta, Hernandez. Creative players not clicking? Vrancic, Stiepermann. All them are viable options to play their part either by doing something different or as direct replacements.
Chelm Canary 404 Posted March 20, 2021 Seeing Cantwell, Buendia and Dowell on that teamsheet has got me rather excited.

lake district canary 4,531 Posted March 20, 2021 Not 100% convinced about this. Rupp was a key element of our success the other night. Guess we'll find out soon!

Surfer 1,547 Posted March 20, 2021 Rupp's reported to be in London - X-ray is a cover story - it's pretty obvious that West Ham have tapped him up.

As I said, we'll soon see! Steady? Come on Lakey, we have the mayor and Skipp for that. We want a front four that can seriously worry the opposition. Rupp would have been very unlucky to have been dropped after Wednesday, so it was a no brainer for me. Dowell in, especially after his performances in the last 2 games. We do not need to have a defensive 3 in midfield for this game, at this time.
Branston Pickle 3,657 Posted March 20, 2021 I’m sure Dowell is ready to play a big role in the run-in, and with no international duty to worry him, thankfully.  Get Rupp fit for PNE and we might even be able to afford to give Skipp a rest.

Indy 3,300 Posted March 20, 2021 Can’t argue with it, but I’d still love to see Sorensen given the rest of the season once we’re up, if there’s no chance of Skipp next season then it’s time to blood him in midfield.....the more game time the better his development! Thinking ahead.

Mason 47 1,379 Posted March 20, 2021 18 minutes ago, keelansgrandad said: Home to Blackburn minus Dack Lakey. Great opportunity. And Armstrong, between them worth 21 of their 49 goals this season. Also Gallagher and Elliot (5 goals each) on the bench from the start. It would be a considerable upset if we don't win this now.
Pukki Blinders 96 Posted March 20, 2021 Great side. Shame for Rupp to get injured obviously, particularly after playing so well on Wednesday, but it has made the team selection really easy. If that front 4 play even half as well as they have been recently they could have a field day. We'd go SEVENTEEN points clear of Brentford if we win this one. Let's make it 10 in a row please lads. sonyc 5,518 Posted March 20, 2021 (edited) Very clear that Blackburn are going to press very high. But means we can beat the press to create an overload Edited March 20, 2021 by sonyc
