nutty nigel 7,648 Posted October 29, 2014 Welcome PUPs toweek thirteen of our Rays Funds season. Now in my days of bingo calling 13 was ‘unluckyfor some’ but that certainly doesn’t apply here because we are lucky to have topPUP and previous winner of the final six Herman in charge and making the finalselections. In fact this is Herman’s fourth go at the final six and hisprevious three have been a 6/6 and two 5/6s so I''m really looking forward to his picks this weekend. We are also lucky in that Herman is a fantastic supporter of thesethreads, not only by selecting every week but also how he stays with usthroughout the weekend. He epitomises what we are all about and I for one am forevergrateful for his support. But Herman will still need our support with the very best selections we can find fromthe games played on Sat/Sun/Mon of this weekend and listed on the William Hillor Bet365 web site. This week we haveCity-til-I-die looking after the match bet. Now we need to be on the ballbecause Dave’s going to give me his selections on Friday morning because ourgame this week is Friday evening. I think this bet was made for CTID and can’twait to see the options he picks. We have£6 to spend Dave, so you can choose up to six selections either from the PUPssuggestions or of your own. Wooster’sreturns from last week’s match bets took this season’s pot up to £245 which looks very promising consideringwe’re not yet a third of the way through. I haven’tmentioned this for a while so if some of our newer PUPs are on Facebook we haveour own group on there which you’d be welcome to join. https://www.facebook.com/groups/124098287639888/ Now I’ll handthis week’s thread over to Herman and City-til-I-die. Remember there’s nopressure because we are all going to be doing our best to help you to success. We all stand together with the single aim of raising money for the CommunitySports Foundation. Good luck allyou PUPs... Take it away Stefan and Dave ... the thread is yours.......[:)]... wooster 134 Posted October 29, 2014 Good luck Herman & CITD.I''m going for another draw, Wigan vs Fulham, at 9/4.For the Norwich bet, I will go for (and it will not happen) a HT/FT of Draw/Draw, at 5/1.
Hissing Sid 156 Posted October 29, 2014 My season seems to be going from bad to worse...hopefully a recovery can begin with this offering from PortugalFC Porto (5-3-0 15-3) v CD Nacional (2-2-4 6-9) - Home WinAnd for the NCFC bet, HT/FT Norwich/NorwichBest of luck Herman, CTID and all you PUPs

PurpleCanary 5,587 Posted October 30, 2014 For the NCFC bet, with some cautious optimism, I recommend Norwich City to win by two goals, at 7/2.
stewfil 10 Posted October 30, 2014 My bet this week is Chelsea Home win v QPRNorwich to win by 2 goals
Kathy 745 Posted October 30, 2014 Real Madrid to win at Granada please. Good luck CITD!For our game I think Tettey has a goal coming. In our last few games he has been outstanding and with his confidence high I fancy him to score. And I saw him in Sainsburys which is an omen.
Feedthewolf 4,894 Posted October 30, 2014 Arsenal look a good price at 2/7 with William Hill, Burnley are useless. As for the match bet, I think Norwich HT/FT looks good. There will be a tempo, there will be pressure and there will be goals (I hope!). Sooner or later Turner will be in the right place at the right time from a set piece, so I''d be looking at him to score any time.
Mr Apples 1,335 Posted October 30, 2014 Hi all, I''m going to go Greek this week (fnarr fnarr) and will go for a PAOK Salonika win vs Ergotelis (PAOK away win). For the match bet I''m going for Lafferty to score anytime. Good luck and best wishes to all the pickers! Apples
The Great Drinkell 50 Posted October 30, 2014 Staying in the most competitive league in the world which always makes a selection from it a little risky, but for me Blackburn will be too strong for ReadingBlackburn v Reading Home win (evens)For the city bet I think Grabban (to score first) will get back on the goal trial and city will win 3-1Good luck pickers. Pete Raven 276 Posted October 30, 2014 Home win for FC Zurich against FC Luzern - top v bottom. Put a pony on it.
R Mellie 0 Posted October 30, 2014 Many people I came into contact with today were in good moods, so along similar lines of going somewhere I don''t normally go, off to Ligue 1 thus week for Marseille v Lens, HOME win please. Marseille looking good on top of the league and winning four of their last five games, Lens only managing one win in the last five which was last week that only then took them off the bottom of the table. For the Norwich bet, we surely must be due giving someone a bit of a mauling - how about a Norwich win at over 2.5 goals. Good luck Herman and CTID and of course all pups
Mr Angry 1,571 Posted October 30, 2014 I was very tempted by the 1st vs 2nd clash in the Serbian Super Liga were the odds on a draw are 4/1, a similar scenario to the 1st vs 2nd clash last week in the Bundesliga. In the end though i have decided that discretion is the better part of valour, and am going for a home win for Videoton against Honved in the Hungarian NB1. Videoton are top, 11 wins and 1 defeat, goal difference +25, Honved are 12th, 3 wins, 2 draws, 7 defeats, GD is -6. Honved have however won their last 2 games at Videoton so it is a risk. Odds are 4/11.Good luck to all PUPs and extra good luck to my mate Herman.
nutty nigel 7,648 Posted October 30, 2014 Great effort already by this fantastic team of PUPs with 15 different selections for Herman to consider. I''m going to Holland for the 16th where I think top of the league PSV should be too strong for their visitors ADO Den Haag. PSV v ADO Den Haag Home Win. For CTID I''m going to suggest a Norwich win with Lewis Grabban scoring the first goal.
