Yorkshire Canary 118 Posted January 31, 2014 If it is not a team below us let the prat go. He has shown his true colours and is finished at our club
nochain09 0 Posted January 31, 2014 Surely we still need to replace him (if he went elsewhere) BIG TIME!? We probably did even if he stayed....we desperately need creativity!!
Rogue Baboon 0 Posted January 31, 2014 We wouldn''t sell unless we had a replacement, and we wouldn''t replace Wes unless it was somebody better - may be that we have somebody lined up?
Tetteys Jig 851 Posted January 31, 2014 He isn''t good enough, we should have replaced him long ago.
Paul 0 Posted January 31, 2014 Why would we need to replace him, he has played 5 games all season.
Nicko 0 Posted January 31, 2014 Could be Sunderland with Cattermole on the way out. Would be unthinkable to think we wouldn''t get some sort of replacement if he leaves.
Tetteys Jig 851 Posted January 31, 2014 He''s a useful squad player, overshadowed by Howson. We clearly need a link up man and the reason Hughton has not played him when he''s the type of player we are missing is because he simply isn''t good enough. York Canary 29 Posted January 31, 2014
Why would we need to replace him, he has played 5 games all season.
That''s true, but he''d be more important to replace than say, David Fox.

CDMullins 498 Posted January 31, 2014 Maybe this is why Mata didnt get the number 7 for Man Utd,Maybe their next number 7 is Wes Hoolahan????

Beefy is a legend 224 Posted January 31, 2014 I really do hope that the Club has a quality replacement lined up if they are allowing Wes to go, otherwise it just reduces our attacking options further.
Snakepit Ric 0 Posted January 31, 2014 We would be crazy to let him go to a fellow team on loan.
Zak Van Burger 0 Posted January 31, 2014
I really do hope that the Club has a quality replacement lined up if they are allowing Wes to go, otherwise it just reduces our attacking options further.
Wes has had little impact for a while now and in his limited opportunities this season has already missed two sitters that I can think of. I for one wont miss him.
RichT - The Biscuit 0 Posted January 31, 2014 Loan makes more sense, we will get him back in the summer feel happy and refreshed and ready for the new season......
city4eva 242 Posted January 31, 2014
Loan makes more sense, we will get him back in the summer feel happy and refreshed and ready for the new season......
that makes perfect sense he is an ok championship player
The Great Mass Debater 1,202 Posted January 31, 2014 Makes sense if Hughton is not going to be the manager. Otherwise he''ll just be returning to the same situation that made him unhappy in the first place. Seems the club and him have made his position untenable, but we cant find anyone worth selling to. All very silly and seems like we have massively shot ourselves in the foot. Dont see how we get anything out of a loan
RichT - The Biscuit 0 Posted January 31, 2014 Maybe that is the point C4e.If we get relegated at the end of the season, which is a large possibility then inevitably Hughton will get the boot.Maybe Hughton is the problem like a lot of posters are suggesting and the club is simply keeping its options open.Sounds far fetched but with some of the weird goings on at this club who knows?!?!
