Sara is not having a good time in Turkey

the same as any clubs fans then

Except Gala fans are and always have been some of the most fickle fans around. I mean sure you can joke about it being the same as many clubs but just like Celtic fans they expect to win every single match they play and for every player who starts to get a 10/10 rating and if they don't? It's over, fold the club sell all the players.

Gala's issues are with the coach and setup, not with Sara.  Here's a more wider variety of opinions:

Well if we had any add-ons linked to the Champions League we won't be getting them.

Is that Turkish, into Portuguese and he responds in English? Blows my tiny mind!

Feel sorry for him to be honest, he looks a bit fed up/lost.

I felt it was a strange move for him. Sometimes money isn't everything.

Yeah. He should have held on a bit longer for a move to the EPL. He seemed happy in England by all accounts.

I'm guessing our need to sell and the fact that Gala were the only ones willing to pay what we wanted helped us.

And from his POV they were in the Champs League, so a bit of exposure for a bigger move

Agree with these posts, but I guess he'll get his chance in a year or two. Just has to work hard, do the business on the pitch and his time will come. Shame we couldn't have kept him on.

Pretty sure we wanted the money, he got a big pay rise. Was probably seen as a win win.

I think the move will be better judged after a couple of years rather than a couple of weeks.

But CC needed to start a thread today, not in two years 😳

Only been there for a short while and they've got people already interrogating him and demanding to know why the club bothered to sign him 🙃

I couldn’t give a flying toss how he’s getting on in Turkey to be honest petal

We’ve got our money (in however many instalments) and he no longer plays for NCFC

move on

Why bother reading this thread then?

The boy doesn't look happy does he. The usual big smile has gone.

Hardly surprising when his team has just been put out of the Champion's League.....

Short answer…I haven’t

long answer…I haven’t, I’ve only responded to both yourself and Cambridge to make the point

Norwich City just wanted to get the money for him. They weren't bothered who came in and whether this move was good for his welfare and career.

Norwich City are evil.

No one forced him to sign for Galatasary! He could have declined the move.

No doubt his agent encouraged it whereas in reality he could still be here and available for a move elsewhere.

It might still work out for him, but it's a massive blow for his club missing out on the Champions League.

And starting a thread now doesn’t stop a thread being started in two years time either!

I didn’t think he was mobile enough for the EPL.

I'm presuming it is also very bad news for us. Presumably the transfer deal add ons included something related to champions league so this will mean we will get less money for him. Maybe that's why we have reduced the number of players expected in today?

Another step forward for the human race.

I suppose going to a club like Galatasaray there are going to be greater pressures to deliver. After all, they are paying him four times what he was getting here and so that comes with certain expectations that did not exist here. I mean, Norwich fans would be happy watching us play Wroxham every week.
