Not sure… taking Sargent off will always make us weaker IMO, so unless he’s struggling he should always stay on until the game is won.

Agreed. I don't know why he took Sargent off, but when he did (assuming that there was a acceptable reason) he should have replaced him with another forward. To end up with Barnes playing upfront by himself was ridiculous.

Stacey ill in build up, still should of kept Sarg on another 10 min

If that was the case, why wasn't Kellen Fisher on the bench?

Any away point is a good point.

But as George Orwell* said, some away points are more equal than others.

Not this one. Poor substitutions cost us 2 points that were there for the taking.

Take off Sargent and put on Sorensen?  Wagner is a tactical GENIUS . I am especially impressed by the way Wagner attempts to lose the game with such excellent game management. Please keep Wagner as our Head Coach for EVER, we are so lucky to have him in charge of our squad.

Agreed, the best form of defense is attack , Sarg could of been on another 10min and he might of got another one, then VHK on for him

Good question, why didn’t they put Macallum on at right back when Stacey had to go off?

I can only assume he didn't travel with the squad.

Neither did Wagner after that inept managerial display.

Wagners lost us two points today.

On top and just scored.. and he makes us toothless and brings on a midfielder with no pace to play full back against one of the best wingers in the league. I hope he gets questioned on this.. bonkers, 2 points thrown away completely unnecessarily.

I keep saying. He's under instructions from those above to keep us where we are. Only reason for the most ridiculous substitutions. Totally stupid.

Then he should have had a replacement right fullback on the bench. Another Wagner masterstroke.

Wagner's job seemingly brought here to make supporting City a soulless experience and he is very good at it.  So good don't know if I could be enticed to Carrow Rd again.  Certainly not while he stays here.

He'll never learn. How many points has he probably cost us this season through his utterly stupid, nonsensical substitutions? WTF was he thinking?

We've also had some good from-behind results and his record with a fit squad has been good. Today he got it badly wrong though and cost us two points. No question about that.

How many without a win is it for you lot now? 8? 9? 10?

Yet still 15 points and a game in hand on Norwich 😁

I just don't understand our coaching either. I get wanting to play 'pretty' football, I even get trying to play the ball out - but for Giannoulis to attempt a stupid cruyff-turn flick inside his own box to his CB is absolute madness.

Surely if you're coaching our team you will be coaching decision making, defenders from the PL right down to L2 don't do insane stuff like that.

Getting absolutely fed up with moronic decisions by our defenders thinking they're playing FIFA rather than actually remembering to keep the ball!

Just permanently seems 1 step forward, 2 steps back with Wagner. With the right coaching we should easily be top 6

Wagner speaking to Chris Goreham now, just said Sargent only trained on Friday this week. So was always going to be subbed early.

Stacey was unwell yesterday. But felt better today. No mention of the whereabouts of Kellen Fisher.

No comment about van Hooijdonk.

Rowe with possible hamstring injury. Unknown how serious.

The thing is, the goal after the substitutions came from the opposite side of the pitch from Sorensen. So nothing to do with the change. Granted we may have had a better chance of getting a third if the Donk had come on, but we don’t see how he’s training, how good he is at working with our squad and tactics. He might be rubbish, or just not up to speed yet.

I’m not trying to suggest that they were great subs, just that we don’t know the complete picture. Wagner has achieved a lot since the worst of the injuries cleared and deserves a go until the end of the season. I’m not sure he should get any longer than that though.

Team selection was wrong. Formation was wrong. Subs were chaotic and wrong. 2 points dropped.

We remain in contention despite Wagner not because of him.

All very frustrating.

Simple binner. It matters not a jot how many points you are above us. What matters is the 11 point lead had you had over S'oton, which is now a four point lead for them.  Coincidentally thats 15 points as well.It is finishing above them and Leeds, which matters, or perhaps not.

Having won just the one trophy in the past 40 years to our six you had the chance to win the title last season. You blew it, just as you have this season

And the 13 points you are ahead of 6th place shows that if you are both in the playoffs it matters little what points difference there is,  But then such is your lots obsession with us, this is the high point in your season as you failed in your cup final. Binner bottlers, yet again.
