repman 635 Posted February 10 Just can't believe we're wasting at least one of Rowe and Sara on this management staff. There's no guarantee but we're not even trying to maximise our opportunity by keeping them in charge.
cambridgeshire canary 6,792 Posted February 10 On the one hand BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Â On the other hand point away. Also two dropped against one of the worst teams in the divison, but still

Samwam27 532 Posted February 10 Consistently inconsistent. No point getting a great result if.you cant follow it up against lowly teams. Nice to see the Hanley/Gibson partnership resuming and looking leaky immediately
Creedence Clearwater Couto 1,297 Posted February 10 Wagners lost us two points today. On top and just scored.. and he makes us toothless and brings on a midfielder with no pace to play full back against one of the best wingers in the league. I hope he gets questioned on this.. bonkers, 2 points thrown away completely unnecessarily.
Peregrine Shorts 331 Posted February 10 The substitution lottery costs us yet again
robertociNCFC 99 Posted February 10 Disappointed with the end to the game as I feel we were well in control before the subs, Wagner really chucking Sorenson out to the wolves by putting him in at RB and also against Chair who was causing us enough problems beforehand. Barnes should never play up top by himself as he does not have the same energy that Sargent has and it severely impacted our attacks. But hey another point on the board even though it should've been all 3.

It worked pretty well for them.
Fuzzar 1,703 Posted February 10 Real opportunity missed here. Very disappointing subs on the face of it. Lost control of the game and removed our goal threat when we needed it - double-bubble.
pete 320 Posted February 10 Tactical genius, certainly not, just a pretending clown
Conrad 178 Posted February 10 Wagner has to go in the summer, at the latest. 2-1 up and we make such negative substitutions and against the team with the worst home record in the division. Then, when QPR get an equaliser we still didn't make a positive substition. Its as if we didn't want to win the game.

Virtual reality 716 Posted February 10 On top and looking likely for the 3 points until the bizarre subs. 2 points lost rather than 1 gained

"Worst" is not the word I would employ, just "typical." Have we ever had such a bizarre manager? He seems incapable of reading a game. Robert N. LiM 4,477 Posted February 10 Only watched the last ten mins or so, looked very chaotic. Feels like a really missed opportunity, the way the other games have gone. Can't comment on the subs but on the face of it people's criticisms look totally fair enough.

Capt. Pants 4,276 Posted February 10 The focus from Wagner had to be winning this game, not worrying about Tuesday if that was the reasoning for those pathetic subs. Why loan a player with an option to buy then don't even play him? Knapper must be absolutely fuming.
Worthy Nigelton 1,063 Posted February 10 Wagner messed up today, no doubt about it, but we didn't get beat and our form is good so people need to stop going overboard - we wont win every game. However, hopefully Wagner will learn that Barnes a) can't play 90 mins and b) definitely can't play up top on his own. Having him lead the line at the end of a game away from home can never happen again, unless it's a desperate situation and we have no other choices available to us. Samwam27 532 Posted February 10 I thought van donk was likley long term Barnes replacement but whats the point if Wagner wont play him. Barnes has proved all season he cant play up.top on his own yet Wagner persists with this option when Sarg comes off. Sarg should have swapped with van donk. I just cant get behind Wagner. Its a long slog to the summer
