****The Official Lappinitup Match Thread - QPR v Norwich****

Just can't believe we're wasting at least one of Rowe and Sara on this management staff. There's no guarantee but we're not even trying to maximise our opportunity by keeping them in charge.

2-2 Full-time.

Ho-hum.

Every time this team starts to look like a top six side, they then follow it up with a poor result.

Trouble is city got very little quality to win matches

Consistently inconsistent. No point getting a great result if.you cant follow it up against lowly teams.

Nice to see the Hanley/Gibson partnership resuming and looking leaky immediately

Wagners lost us two points today.

On top and just scored.. and he makes us toothless and brings on a midfielder with no pace to play full back against one of the best wingers in the league. I hope he gets questioned on this.. bonkers, 2 points thrown away completely unnecessarily.

Disappointed with the end to the game as I feel we were well in control before the subs, Wagner really chucking Sorenson out to the wolves by putting him in at RB and also against Chair who was causing us enough problems beforehand.

Barnes should never play up top by himself as he does not have the same energy that Sargent has and it severely impacted our attacks.

But hey another point on the board even though it should've been all 3.

Was fun to watch at times but really poor, looked every bit like a L1 game

I think that was largely down to QPR: Foul lots to break up play as much as possible. It worked pretty well for them.

Real opportunity missed here. Very disappointing subs on the face of it. Lost control of the game and removed our goal threat when we needed it - double-bubble.

Tactical genius, certainly not, just a pretending clown

Wagner has to go in the summer, at the latest. 2-1 up and we make such negative substitutions and against the team with the worst home record in the division. Then, when QPR get an equaliser we still didn't make a positive substition. Its as if we didn't want to win the game.

This is possible Wagners worst afternoon as Norwich manager in a tactical sense, just nonsense from him.

"Worst" is not the word I would employ, just "typical."

Have we ever had such a bizarre manager? He seems incapable of reading a game.

Only watched the last ten mins or so, looked very chaotic. Feels like a really missed opportunity, the way the other games have gone. Can't comment on the subs but on the face of it people's criticisms look totally fair enough.

I can understand why Wagner took Sargent off, but did it far too early

It's not who he took off, rather who he brought on. Negative substitutions.

The focus from Wagner had to be winning this game, not worrying about Tuesday if that was the reasoning for those pathetic subs.

Why loan a player with an option to buy then don't even play him?

Knapper must be absolutely fuming.

Wagner messed up today, no doubt about it, but we didn't get beat and our form is good so people need to stop going overboard - we wont win every game.

However, hopefully Wagner will learn that Barnes a) can't play 90 mins and b) definitely can't play up top on his own. Having him lead the line at the end of a game away from home can never happen again, unless it's a desperate situation and we have no other choices available to us.

Not sure… taking Sargent off will always make us weaker IMO, so unless he’s struggling he should always stay on until the game is won.

I only watched the last ten minutes or so and only noticed right toward the end of them that he was on the pitch.

What’s frustrating though, is it didn’t need to happen to realise this!!

He'll never learn. How many points has he probably cost us this season through his utterly stupid, nonsensical substitutions? WTF was he thinking?

I thought van donk was likley long term Barnes replacement but whats the point if Wagner wont play him.

Barnes has proved all season he cant play up.top on his own yet Wagner persists with this option when Sarg comes off.

Sarg should have swapped with van donk. I just cant get behind Wagner.

Its a long slog to the summer
